Private graveside services will be held in Dalhart at a later date. Cremation will be by Chapel of Angels Funeral Home. Mrs. Fox was born in Breeze, Ill., and moved with her family in 1917 to Perico. A 1927 graduate of Dalhart High School, she attended George Washington University at St. Louis, and West Texas Normal School at Canyon. In 1978, she retired after 17 years with Affiliated Foods in Amarillo and moved to Houston. In 1980, she moved to Lubbock. She married Raines L. Fox in 1930 at Clayton, N.M. He died in 1974. Survivors include two daughters, Joraine Killian and Shirlene Kehoe, both of Lubbock; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and Eddie Maddox of Lubbock. The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society; or Hospice of Lubbock. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home with Mr. Jerry Copeland officiating. Burial will be in Floyd County Memorial Park. Mrs. Baxter was born in Floydada and graduated from Floydada High School. She was a bookkeeper, a Sunday school teacher, and a member of First Baptist Church. She married Johnnie Baxter in 1938 at Floydada. He died in 1952. Survivors include three daughters, Gail White of Canyon, Judy Bollman of Lubbock, and Rebecca Burns of Floydada; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Owen was born in Floydada and graduated from Floydada High School. She attended Texas Tech University at Lubbock and South Plains College at Levelland. Survivors include a son, Trevor Owen of Austin; her mother, Betty Yeary of Floydada; two brothers, Max Yeary of Floydada and Rex Yeary of Quitaque; and a sister, Jennifer Donaghe of Floydada. Mrs. Wofford was born in Union Parish, La., graduated from school in Marion, La., and moved to Lockney in 1946. She was a homemaker and a member of the Polly Anna Club and Main Street Church of Christ. She married Leon B. Wofford in 1938 at Louisiana. Survivors include her husband; a son, Jerry Wofford of Lockney; a daughter, Sara Ruth Stowe of Georgia; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge. She married Jim Butcher in 1930 at Dill City, Okla. He died in 1974. Survivors include a daughter, Jan Solano of Pampa; a son, Jimmy Don Butcher of Las Vegas, Nev.; two brothers, Cliff Goodman of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Gerald Goodman of Dewey, Ariz.; a sister, Verna Clark of Rogue River, Ore.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Bluebonnet Club, Home Demonstration Club, and the Salvation Army Home League. She married Mac Kenimer in 1934. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Charles Kenimer of El Dorado Springs, Mo., and Robert Kenimer of Borger; a daughter, Wanda Ruth Skidmore of Borger; two brothers, J.W. Marler of Phoenix and Ray Marler of Portland, Ore.; three sisters, Ethel Koeblen of Woodward, Okla., Betty Wyatt of Oklahoma City, and Norma Dean Lorance of Mountain Park, Okla.; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Alvardo was born in Mexico and had lived in Borger for 20 years. He was a carpenter and a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista. His wife, Celia, died in 1995. Survivors include three sons, Armando Mendoza and Hector Mendoza, both of Borger, and Ismael Alvardo of El Paso; four daughters, Isabel Armenta and Alicia Morales, both of Freeport, and Ofelia Linares and Corina Mendoza, both of Borger; a brother, Agustine Alvardo of Mexico; two sisters, Gregoria Alvardo and Teresa Alvardo, both of Mexico; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Earth Church of Christ with Harry Riggs of Muleshoe officiating. Burial will be in Earth Memorial Cemetery by Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home. Mrs. Eagle was born in Malvern, Ark. Before moving to Carlsbad, where she attended the Sunset Church of Christ, she had lived in Roswell, N.M., Amherst, and Grants, N.M. From 1945 until 1974, she lived in Earth, where she was a member of the Church of Christ and worked as a grocery clerk at Patterson Grocery Store. She married Jimmie Eagle in 1945 at Muleshoe. He died in 1990. Her daughter, Alma Fay Eagle, died in 1960. Survivors include a son, Konnie Eagle of Carlsbad; a stepson, Daniel Lee Eagle of Bellingham, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Janie Franklin of Big Spring; four sisters, Freddie Lee Patterson of Earth, Hazel Shoemaker of Tucumcari, N.M., Jewel Carter of Indiahoma, Okla., and Alma Smith of Dexter, N.M.; two brothers, Alvis Burge of Lubbock and Gabbie Burge of Plainview; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren. Mr. Kelso was born in Jones County and moved to the Bovina area in 1949 from Canyon. He worked at Sherley grain elevator and was a farmer. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bovina Senior Citizens, and a former member of the Bovina Roping Club. He married Minnie Gollihugh in 1938 at Vigo Park. His daughter, Julia Langford, died in 1973. He was also preceded in death by four grandchildren. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ferman Kelso of Clovis, N.M., and Tally Kelso of Llano; a sister, Leta Walker of Tulia; twin brother, Hugh Kelso of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Tyson was born in Wichita Falls and was a Christian. She worked as a hairdresser and was a longtime resident of Amarillo. Her granddaughter, Chelsea Nicole Crone, preceded her in death. Interstate 40. Mrs. Kelly was born in Fairfield and moved to Amarillo in 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She married Jimmy Clifton Christian in 1931 at Freestone County. He died in 1944. She married Clinton Kelly in 1960 in New Mexico. He died in 1983. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Lula Bell Christian, in 1942, and Helen Stephens, in 1989. Survivors include three daughters, Alma Gollihugh and Joyce Merritt, both of Amarillo, and Jimmie Nell Lue of Saudi Arabia; a stepson, Richard Kelly of California; a sister, Exa Day of Amarillo; a brother, N.L. Richardson Jr., of Arlington; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with the Rev. Scott Herbert, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Smith was born in South Sioux City, Neb., and moved to Amarillo in 1951. A Licensed Vocational Nurse, she had worked for several nursing homes in Amarillo. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and in 1997 was elected Ms. Elizabeth Jane Bivins. She married Lester G. Trickey in 1933 at South Sioux City. He died in 1962. She married Clyde Smith in 1966. He died in 1983. She was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Trickey; and a stepdaughter, Esther Strickland. Survivors include three sons, Don Trickey of Amarillo, Harold Trickey of Tulsa, Okla., and Gary Trickey of Ogden, Utah; a daughter, Jeaneen Larson of El Paso; three stepsons, Virgil Smith of Buffalo, Mo., Bill Smith of Kansas City, Mo., Paul Smith of Odessa; a stepdaughter, Mary Fields of Amarillo; a brother, Carl Rogosh of Sioux City, Iowa; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; and 15 step-greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Swartley was born in Leedey, Okla., and was a homemaker. Before her marriage to Harold Swartley in 1935 at Garden City, she worked as a cashier at J.C. Penney Co. Inc. Her husband died in 1976. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church Women's Circle. Survivors include a son, John Swarley of Rogersville, Mo.; a daughter, Carol Anderson of Johnson; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Stanton County Long Term Care Unit, c/o the funeral home.
