She married Jimmy Moore in 1995 at Amarillo. He worked for Amerigas Company in propane service. She attended Peoples Church. In 1990, she moved to Clayton, where she was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. She married Erastus Cartmill Jr., in 1948 at Weatherford. He died in 1990. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Ellen Cartmill, in 1998. In Drew, she taught Sunday school in Drew Baptist Church and was a member of the Home Demonstration Club. After moving to Plainview in 1986, she was a member of the First Baptist Church Sunday school and the Home Demonstration Club. Before returning to Plainview, she lived in Lubbock. She married Julius D. Grittman in 1920 at Winona, Miss. He died in 1974. Survivors include a son, Herschell A. Mr. Ellis was born in Hall County and moved to Donley County in 1954. He retired as a heavy equipment operator. During the Korean War, he served with the Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Hedley and First Baptist Church in Memphis. He married Clara Lanelle "Kan" Holland in 1950 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Karan Jolly of Claude; three sons, Frankie Ellis of Claude, Steve Ellis of Clarendon, and James Ellis of Stinnett; two sisters, Laura Cavoness of Gravelly, Ark., and Lee Murdock of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Keeter was born in Gilbert, S.C., and graduated from high school in Lexington, S.C. In 1953, she moved to Lockney. In 1956, she moved to Tulia, where she was a partner in Swisher Meat Co., and a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church. She married Bob Keeter in 1947 at Folkston, Ga. He died in 1995. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Waide of Tulia; four sons, Harold Keeter, Bobby Keeter, and Jerry Keeter, all of Tulia, and Joel Keeter of Fort Worth; a brother, J.W. Price of Gilbert; two sisters, Roberta Jeffcoat and Elmae Keown, both of West Columbia, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren. Burial will follow at Boys Ranch Cemetery by Vega Funeral Home, 110 S. Main St. Mrs. Waldrip was born in Hardeman County, near Quanah. Before moving to Vega five years ago, she lived at the Boys Ranch campus, where she served as school district secretary and receptionist. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Vega. She married Roger D. Waldrip in 1958 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; a son, Randy Waldrip of Dalhart; a daughter, Jill Curths of Rockport; three brothers, H.K. Landers and James Landers, both of Borger, and Bill Landers of Amarillo; two sisters, Doris Ferguson of Borger and Jo Purcell of Fritch; and five grandchildren.
