Mrs. Halbert was born in Donley County. She worked 30 years as a sewing instructor for Singer Sewing Machine Co. in Pampa and Amarillo. She married Lee Halbert in 1932 at Corpus Christi. Mr. Bruce was born in Pampa. In 1977 he graduated from Pampa High School then attended Texas Tech University. He worked for IRI and worked in the optical field for 15 years. He was employed by Broome Optical in Amarillo. He was a member of Trinity Fellowship, where he served as sound technician and softball coach. Mr. Bruce married Lynda Stroud in 1978 at Pampa. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Private First Class Jerry Ryan Bruce of South Korea and Christian Edward Bruce of Pampa; his parents, Jerry and Barbara Bruce of Pampa; and a granddaughter. She was a homemaker and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She married James L. Giles in 1976 at Safford, Ariz. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star and was an election judge for 40 years. Four years ago, she moved to Lubbock. She married Newt Barker in 1933 at Tipton, Okla. Mrs. Willis was born in Hardesty, Okla., and lived in Moore County since 1934. She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church. In 1993 she received her life membership pin from United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Harbert, in 1971 and by her second husband, Eli Willis, in 1981. Survivors include two sons, Billy Harbert and Bob Harbert, both of Channing; a daughter, Wanda Colston of Dumas; a stepdaughter, Helen Franklin of Houston; two brothers, Ollie Smith Jr. of Dumas and Herman L. Frasier, 99, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2000. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Scott Willingham, pastor of First Baptist Church, and Dr. Russell Gibbs, family member of Plainview, officiating. Burial will be in the Dumas Cemetery. Mr. Frasier was born in Vienna, La., and lived in Lincoln Parish, La., until moving to Moore County in 1937. He retired as production foreman for Continental Carbon Co. He also owned a Texaco service station and was employed by the Dumas Independent School District. Mr. Frasier was a charter member of Sunray Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher and song leader. In 1955 he moved to Dumas where he was a member of First Baptist Church and taught sunday school. He was a Mason and member of Dumas Senior Citizens. He was preceded in death by two wives, Metta Frasier in 1982 and Ruth Frasier in 1995, and by a son, Bud Frasier in 1997. Survivors include two daughters, Jereline Musick of Dumas and Tady Heiskell of Amarillo; a son, Purvis Frasier of Amarillo; a stepson, James Robert Polson of Austin; a brother, Harold Frasier of Rockford, Ill.; three sisters, Leo Pylot, Munch Williamson and Fritz Bordelon, all of Vienna; 11 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and seven great-greatgrandchildren. Mr. Morris was born in Miami where he graduated from high school in 1945. During World War II he served in Germany with the Army. In 1948 he joined the Air Force and served in Korea and two tours of Vietnam. He retired from the service in 1968 and returned to Miami. Mr. Doss was born in Tolbert and attended schools in Harold where he graduated from high school. After his marriage he lived in El Reno, Okla., until moving to Plainview in 1945. He was employed by Shephard Chevrolet for 13 years then owned and operated Doss Automotive. He was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He married Alta Faye Davidson in 1942. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1940 and from Amarillo College in 1942. During World War II, he served in the Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Cabot. After the war he returned to Amarillo and the family business, Amarillo Gear Co. He retired in 1986 after 47 years in charge of production. He was a 65-year member of Polk Street United Methodist Church and past president of the 50-50 Sunday School Class. He married Winnie Irene Edwards in 1952 at Amarillo. She died in 1995. Survivors include a son, Lance Millard; a daughter, Tawnya Irene; and sisters, Beverly Johnson and Bonita McCormick of Amarillo. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. She shared a ministry for 43 years in the North and West Texas Assemblies of God with her husband. She lived in the Farmington area 17 years. She married the Rev. Huston Browning in 1933 at Turkey. He died in 1983.
