Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Church of Christ with Mike Talley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Stratford Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. Mrs. Ellison was born in Everton, Ark., and had lived in Stratford since 1920. She was a housewife and a member of Church of Christ in Stratford. She married Verley "Pete" Ellison in 1961 at Stratford. He died in 1984. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Roxalee Sanders in 1945 and Florine Johnson in 2000; and a son, Fred Sanders. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Brooks, Lola Johnson, and Becky Brooks, all of Stratford; five brothers, Emmit O'Quinn of Perryton, Arthur O'Quinn and Norman O'Quinn, both of Amarillo, Devo O'Quinn of Beaver, Okla., and Carl O'Quinn of Taos, N.M.; a sister, Wanda Welch of Borger; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Templeton and her sister, Dorthea Gray Farris, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Monte Kreis, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Templeton will be buried in Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Mrs. Templeton was born in Etta, Miss. A longtime resident of Wellington, she graduated from Wellington High School in 1928. She worked as the medical records librarian at Collingsworth General Hospital and was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution and First United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Bobbie Rhodes of Wellington; a brother, Henard Gray of Hollis, Okla.; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Farris and her sister, Louise Gray Templeton, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church in Wellington with the Rev. Monte Kreis, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Farris will be buried in Dodson Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington. Mrs. Farris was born in Wellington, where she attended school. A homemaker, she was an election judge and a member of the Order of Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church. She moved to Midland in 1993. She married Olan Farris in 1957 at Memphis. He died in 1998. Her daughter, Cynthia Connell, died in 1993. Survivors include two sons, Barry Farris of Midland and Tom Akins of Austin; a daughter, Sherrye Harris of Buchanan; a brother, Henard Gray of Hollis; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Shamrock Cemetery with Cottie Tarbet officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors. Mr. Stuart was born in Shamrock. A mechanic, he served with the Army. In 1995, he returned to Shamrock. Survivors include four sons; two daughters; his mother, Beulah Stuart of Shamrock; and seven grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News Oct. 9, 2000 Mary Morrison HEREFORD - Mary Morrison, 91, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in West Park Cemetery with Pastor Travis Curry of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mrs. Morrison was born in Decatur and moved to Deaf Smith County from Oldham County in 1929. A homemaker, she was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hereford. In 1986, she was elected mayor of Westway and in 1990, she was named Deaf Smith County Pioneer of the Year. Her husband, J.C. Morrison, died in 1980. Her son, Ralph Morrison, died in 1999. Survivors include three daughters, Marjorie Thomas and Mary Lynn Heddins, both of Hereford, and Judith Shaddle of Somonauk, Ill.; a son, Raymond Morrison of Rowlett; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. McCain was born in Childress County. She was the owner and operator of a restaurant. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She married Travis McCain in 1972 at Childress. He died in 1983. Her son, Bill Prentice, died in 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Holtzclaw and Patsy Jouett, both of Childress; a son, Bobby Finchum of Fort Worth; two stepsons, Travis McCain of Rusk and Larry McCain of Bowie; a sister, Ruth Palmer of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. After graduating from Amarillo High School in 1959, he attended business college in Amarillo and worked for Furr's Supermarket and Standard Cigarette. He attended Southwest Baptist Church. He married Sarah "Sally" Wheeler in 1983 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Denese Bryant and Paula Blalock, both of Amarillo; a son, Mike Cox of Claude; his mother, Margarette Cox of Amarillo; four sisters, Shirley Holmes, Judy McClendon and Donny Voelm, all of Amarillo, and Pamela Moore of Louisville; and 11 grandchildren. Mrs. Ulch was born in Amarillo, Texas, where she graduated from Caprock High School. After graduating from West Texas State University at Canyon, Texas, she did graduate work at the University of Oklahoma and worked in special projects at the Moore-Norman Vo Tech. She moved to Norman in 1985 from Canyon. She married William Arthur Ulch in 1983 at Canyon. Survivors include her husband; a son, David Ulch of Amarillo; three daughters, Kristen Ulch, Courtney Ulch, and Brittany Ulch, all of Norman; her mother, Sarah Poe of Norman; and a brother, Donnie Poe of Austin, Texas. Mrs. Campbell was born in Hopkins County and moved to West Texas in the early 1920s. Survivors include two sons, Doyle Campbell of Tyler and Phil Campbell of Richardson; two daughters, LaJuana Robinson of Victoria and Kay Kuhn of Amarillo; four sisters, Juanita Sturdivant and Myra Prather, both of Snyder, Elizabeth Mahan of Canton, and Exa Mae Trent of Lawton, Okla.; and grandchildren.
