Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Church of Christ with Richard Kasko, minister of Fritch Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Pampa by Mintonƒ/ƒChatwell Funeral Directors. Mr. Bonner was born in Okmulgee, Okla. During World War II, he served as staff sergeant for the Army Air Corps. He had lived in Borger for 34 years, moving from Pampa. He retired as store manager from Bovaird Supply Co. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Borger. He married Maxine "Mickey" Little in 1942 at Pampa. Survivors include his wife; a son, Keith Bonner of Lubbock; two daughters, Judy Eppison of Pampa and Shirley Branch of Amarillo; a brother, Roy Lee Bonner of Houston; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. SEDONA, Ariz. - Thelma Maurine Chandler, 86, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000. Services will be private. Arrangements are by Westcott Funeral Home of Cottonwood. Mrs. Chandler was born in Wellington, Colo. She had lived in Boulder, Colo.; Denver; Arvada, Colo.; El Paso, Texas; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Los Angeles; and Santa Rosa, Calif. She had worked as a model and was an artist. She married John T. Chandler in 1932 at Longmont, Colo. Survivors include her husband; a son, the Rev. John Richard Chandler of Amarillo; a daughter, Janette Davis of Cottonwood; two brother, Vanford Young of Longmont and John Young of Aurora, Colo.; five grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. SHAMROCK - Frances Featherston, 63, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2000. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Shamrock Cemetery with Joe Jernigan officiating. Graveside rites to be rendered by the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 898 of Lubbock. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors. Mrs. Featherston graduated from Shamrock High School in 1955 and from Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in 1961. She had lived in Shamrock until moving to Lubbock in 1982. At Shamrock she was a registered nurse and director of nursing for Shamrock General Hospital. She was a member and organist of the First Baptist Church in Shamrock. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 898 and Chapter No. 76 in Lubbock. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Soleta of Lubbock; and a grandson. The family suggests memorials be to Women's Protective Services; or, a favorite charity. MOUNT ENTERPRISE - Gladys Ina Gordon, 86, died Friday, Sept. 8, 2000. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches. Mrs. Gordon was born in San Diego. She was a homemaker and had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Amarillo. Survivors include her husband, Frank J. Gordon; a daughter, Janice Vanderlaan of Mount Enterprise; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. TULSA, Okla. - Jeffrey Raymond Harvey, 39, formerly of Amarillo, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000. Memorial graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo, with the Rev. Troy Neeley of Freedom Baptist Church in Amarillo, officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40, in Amarillo. Mr. Harvey was born in Albuquerque, N.M. He lived in Idabel before moving to Amarillo in 1977. He was a professional painter and had worked for paint contractors in Amarillo. In 1998 he moved to Ada, where he started his own company, "The Finishing Touch." He married Rhonda Redden in 1988 at Las Vegas. Survivors include wife; three sons, J.J. Harvey and Noah Harvey, both of Tulsa, and Mack Thomas Harvey of Roswell, N.M.; a daughter, Erin Lee Harvey of Roswell, N.M.; his mother, Nancy Harvey of Amarillo; two brothers, Kyle Harvey of Lubbock, Texas, and Tim Harvey of Antlers. EDMOND, Okla. - Mark Charles Pelletier III, 53, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2000. The family had private services. Arrangements were by John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore. Mr. Pelletier was born in Oakland, Calif. He served in the 1st Air Cavalry during the Vietnam War. He worked for Safewayƒ/ƒHomeland and lived in Amarillo from 1986 to 1992 while working as a district manager for the store. He then was transferred to Oklahoma City. He later was involved in investment banking. He married Linda Wieland in 1973 at Chico, Calif. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Anthony Pelletier of Aurora, Ill., and Timothy Pelletier of Oklahoma City; his mother, Adeline Pelletier of Chico; three sisters, Cathy Marello of Petaluma, Calif., Mary Gabrych of Peoria, Ariz., and Beth Ozanich of Boulder, Colo.; and two brothers, Jim Pelletier of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Paul Pelletier of Coalinga, Calif. The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers be to the American Cancer Society. PAMPA - Janice Willis Matheny, 61, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. John Glover, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Matheny was born in Oklahoma City. She was a longtime resident of Pampa. She was a member the Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter No. 1163. She was preceded in death by her husband, F.E. Matheny Jr., in 1992. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Bridges of Lipscomb; a brother, Bob Willis of Muskogee, Okla.; a stepfather, B.W. Kelley; two stepsisters, Sandy Miller of Pampa and Peggy Gowdy of Ruidoso, N.M.; and two grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Helen Henry Merrill, 88, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, in Clovis. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Miller, minister of South Georgia Street Baptist Church in Amarillo, and the Rev. Joe Murray, minister of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery by Dunn Funeral Home. Mrs. Merrill was born in Anson, Texas. A resident of Tucumcari, she was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Davie G. Henry Sr., in 1973. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Jaynes of Tucumcari and Helen B. Holt of Duncan, Okla.; a son, Davie G. Henry Jr. of Truth or Consequences; three sisters, Merele Brooks of Kerrville, Texas, Anette Jones of Beggs, Okla., and Jo Patterson of Royal City, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. today at the funeral home. Dorothy H. Oden, 91, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Polk Street United Methodist Church with Dr. James E. Garrett, senior minister, officiating. Private burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Oden was born in Rush Springs, Okla., and graduated from Norman, Okla. High School. She had lived in Altus, Okla., Borger and Pampa before moving to Amarillo in 1952. She was a member of the Polk Street United Methodist Church. She married Farris C. Oden in 1927. Survivors include her husband; four children, Bob F. Oden of Forgan, Okla., Richard L. Oden of Minneapolis, Jon T. Oden of Amarillo and Rebecca Oden Weatherall of Houston; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. TULIA - Julisa Palomo, infant daughter of Jenifer and Jose Palomo, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000, in Plainview. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. John Salazar-Jimenez of the Church of the Holy Spirit officiating. Arrangements are by Wallace Funeral Home. Survivors include her parents; a brother, Jose Louis Palomo of Tulia; her grandparents, Refina Torres and Gregorio Palomo, both of Mexico and Louis and Amanda Ortiz of Plainview. Frank B. Rector, of Canyon, 85, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000. Burial will be private at Forest Park Cemetery Westheimer in Houston. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors. Mr. Rector was born in Lexington, Ky. He was a veteran of the Army and a self-employed accountant. He was a member of the Episcopal church. Survivors include a daughter, Jan Ashford of Houston; a sister, Ruth Elkin of Lexington; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. DUMAS - Gertrude Shipman, 94, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in the Dumas Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Orr, minister of missions at First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Shipman was born in Vinson, Okla., and had lived in Dumas since 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Shipman, in 1974. Survivors include a brother, Dan Minor of Amarillo. EATONTON, Ga. - The Rev. Jimmy Wayne Trammell, 48, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Church of Christ at Quanah, Texas, with the Rev. Max Tipton of Buffalo Gap, Texas, officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkland Cemetery at Kirkland, Texas, by Price-Jackson Funeral Home of Quanah. The Rev. Trammell was born in Quanah. He graduated from Abilene Christian University at Abilene, Texas, and earned a master's degree in English from Hardin-Simmons University. He had led churches in Texas and retired as director of financial aid at Wesleyan College in Macon. He was minister of music at New Covenant Community Church. Survivors include his wife, Laura Z. Trammell; two daughters, Sarah Hustwit and Rebekah Trammell, both of Macon; a son, Arthur Stowers of Providence, R.I.; his mother, Leona Trammell of Quanah; and two brothers, Marty Trammell of Vernon, Texas, and Randy Trammell of Sherman, Texas. The family will receive visitors 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
