Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Aaron Reed officiating. Burial will be in Hart Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Mr. Henderson was born in Castro County and attended schools in Olton. He was a carpenter and a farmer. As a young man, he worked as a cowboy on a ranch in Arizona. He served with the Navy during World War II, and in 1948, moved to Hart. He married Wanda Jackson in 1949 at Dimmitt. They returned to the ranch in Arizona and in 1951, to Hart. He was a member of First Baptist Church at Hart. Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry Henderson of Hart; seven sisters, Anna Lou Huff of Lubbock, Bea Cole of Hart, Glee Williams of Canyon, Jane Sheelock of Amarillo, Joy Owens of Carlsbad, N.M., Lola Stewart of Baldwin, Mo., and Nola Jobe of Granbury; two brothers, Charlie Henderson of Payson, Ariz., and R.G. Mrs. Reece was born in Quitaque and moved to Sudan with her family in 1924. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church at Sudan, where she was a member of the T.E.L. class. She was also a member of the Sudan Order of Eastern Star, Sudan Senior Citizens and was with a quilting group. She married Sterling Reece in 1932 at Portales, N.M. He died in 1985. Crittenden was born in Corpus Christi and was retired from the Air Force. He was a contract coordinator for an aircraft company and served with the Army Air Corps during World War II and with the Air Force during the Vietnam War. In Amarillo, he was a member of Bolton Street Baptist Church and served on the board of directors for Amarillo Credit Union. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Lea Crittenden, in 1949, and by his wife, Leatha Wilder Crittenden, in 1994. Survivors include a son, Tommy Crittenden of Denver; three daughters, Linda Liner of Seattle, Donna Crittenden of Fort Worth and Barbara Shipp of Arlington; a half sister, Virginia Gatlife Dillana; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Mrs. Clough was born in Lawton, Okla., and graduated from New Mexico Western University at Silver City, N.M. Truman Ledbetter, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors Inc. Mrs. Bromley was born in Donley County and was a lifetime resident. She had been a beautician and worked in real estate and insurance before opening Mrs. Bromley's Boarding House in the late 1950s after her husband died. The boarding house began as lodging for basketball players from Clarendon College. The next year, Mrs. Bromley opened a public dining room. She retired in 1984 after 26 years. Her business was listed by many local, state and national travel publications as one of the outstanding restaurants in Texas. In 1982, Mrs. Bromley was inducted into "Texas Women - A Celebration of History" at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Milton "Pete" Bromley in 1982; and a daughter, Mary Ann Riley, in 1998. Survivors include six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Bill, Ed, Vickie, Jimmy and Janice; and nieces and nephews. Mr. Wilson was born in Claude in 1926. He graduated from Claude High School and West Texas State University. Mr. Wilson enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served in the Pacific theater during World War II. He married Patsy Routh in 1948 in Amarillo. They lived in Claude where he farmed, then moved to Amarillo in 1951. Mr. Wilson worked in the trucking business for more than 40 years. He was active in the First Baptist Churches of Amarillo and Claude. Wilson was in the Masonic Lodge. Poole was born in Greensboro and retired from the Air Force at Cannon Air Force Base after 29 years as a fighter pilot, including service during the Vietnam War. During his career, he flew with the Air Force, Allied Nations and combined forces. After his retirement, he was an Avionics Engineer on the B-1 aircraft for Rockwell International and returned to Cannon Air Force Base to work for Reflectone Training Systems as a flight simulator instructor. He married Johanne Jenkins in 1959 at Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada. She died in 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Hobbs and Alisa McFarden, both of Clovis; a brother, William Poole of Danielsville, Ga.; three grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Mrs. Goetzinger was born in Greer County and received her teaching certification. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. She married Willis Goetzinger in 1931 at Mangum. He died in 1963. Amarillo Daily News Jan. 10, 2000 Elsewhere David E. Miller HOUSTON - David E. Miller, 62, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000. A memorial service was held Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church in Houston. Dr. Miller, a Canyon native, graduated from West Texas State University and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He served as a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy with the medical corps during the Vietnam War. After the military, Dr. Miller had a private practice in family medicine and was a member of the Harris County Medical Society. For the last 25 years, he was the medical director for Shell Oil Co. Dr. Miller was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church. He sang in the choir.
