Burial will be in White Deer Cemetery. Mr. Stover was born in Borger and lived in Pampa about 40 years. He retired from the city of Pampa in 1999. He was a Baptist. Survivors include a son, Chris Stover of Amarillo; his father, R.E. Stover of Pampa; a brother, Jack Stover of White Deer; two sisters, Joyce Winn of Moriarty, N.M., and JoAnn McClellan of Cheyenne, Okla.; and one grandson. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mr. Mankins was born in Ararat, Va. He served in the Army. He moved to Borger in 1972 from California. He was a retired material supervisor for Fish Engineering & Construction Co. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. He married Annabelle Mae Wallace in 1975 at Borger. She died in 1994. Survivors include three stepsons, Jim Wallace of Borger, Ronnie Wallace of Oklahoma and Kenny Wallace of California; two stepdaughters, Diane Duffeck of Wichita, Kan., and Vickie Irby of Borger; two brothers, Acie T. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Jahnel, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Mobeetie, officiating. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors. Mr. Morehead was born near Waka in Ochiltree County. He graduated from Canadian High School in 1949 and attended Draughon's School of Business at Oklahoma City. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He worked at grocers in Oklahoma City, Elk City, Okla., and Woodward, Okla. before returning to Canadian in 1969. He worked in the lumber millwork and retail industry. After retiring he owned and operated The River Crossing at Canadian and restored furniture. He was a charter member of the Canadian Moose Lodge, a former member of the Canadian Lion's Club and a member of First United Methodist Church. He married Dorothea Rose Kelln in 1954 at Lipscomb County. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Marsha Pool of Malakoff, Ruth Ann Adkins of Briscoe and Donna Sue Morehead of Amarillo; a son, Marshall Glen "Pete" Morehead of Lipscomb; two sisters, Mildred Cole of Enid, Okla., and Ava Hale of Panhandle; two brothers, Walton Morehead of Canadian and Charles Morehead of Lake Tanglewood; and eight grandchildren. Burial will be in Higgins Cemetery by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors of Canadian. Mrs. Cornford was born in Higgins. She graduated from Higgins High School and attended Lindenwood College at St. Louis, Mo. In 1946 she married George J. Cornford at Denver and they made their home in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She volunteered at church and hospitals in Calgary. They moved to Arizona in 1997. Survivors include her husband of Sun City West, Ariz.; two sons, Darryl Cornford of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Russell Cornford of Houston; a sister, Leila Turner of Sun City, Ariz; and a granddaughter. Carl Thorell officiating. Burial will be in the Heart Cemetery by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Borger. Mrs. Hardy was born in Ardmore, Okla. She attended school in Dickson, where she was named to the All-State Basketball Team. After graduating she attended the University of Oklahoma until moving to Amarillo. In 1971 she moved to Lipscomb and in 1972 to Booker. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary Don Hardy in April. Survivors include two daughters, Johnanna Dear and Lynne Brock, both of Perryton; her mother, Dollie Summers of Ardmore, Okla.; a brother, Bill Summers of Ardmore; two sisters, Helen Jackson of Amarillo and Viola Garver of Eufaula, Okla.; and five grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her second husband, James Belt. During World War II he served with the 2nd Infantry Division in Europe. He earned the Bronze Star. He moved to Amarillo from Waco in 1945. He retired as a security guard. He married Dell Granger in 1946 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife and three sisters, Ruth Cooper of Cameron, Dorothy Graves of Amarillo and Josephine Fountain of Norwich, Conn. She was a member of First Christian Church. She married G.A. "Bert" McCullough Jr. in 1947. He died in 1966. She married Leroy Bell in 1971. Survivors include her husband; a son, Dan McCullough of Austin; a stepson, Larry Bell of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Connie Guffy of Canyon; two grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Bartholomew Funeral Home in Valparaiso. Mrs. Vincent was born in Childress County. She was a homemaker and worked 15 years as a part-time jewelry merchandiser. She lived in Amarillo in the 1950s and returned in 1982. She was a past member of the Amarillo Senior Citizens Association in Amarillo. She married Ralph Vincent in 1992 at Borger and they moved to Fritch. She moved to Kirbyville two years ago. Survivors include her husband; eight children, Kenneth R. Blodgett, Phyllis Hiner, Kerry Blodgett, Shawn Blodgett, Stephanie Daniels, Michael Ray, David Ray and Linda Rodney; a brother, Marvin Davis; a sister, Paulene Love; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Contreras was born in Colorado City and lived most of his life in California until moving to Amarillo 15 years ago. He was the owner of J&C Body Works. He was a Catholic. He was a cowboy and worked for the Rock Island Railroad in Dalhart, Texas. He moved to the Grants area in 1957 and retired from the uranium industry in 1981. He was a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Maxine; three daughters, Nancy Easley of Wyandotte, Okla., LuAnn Elkins of Bluewater and LeeNona Fidel of O'Fallon, Ill.; two brothers, J.D. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mrs. Bentley was born in Eksjo, Sweden, and moved to the United States in 1912. She lived in Denver until 1920, when her family moved to Cortez, Colo. She moved to Guymon in 1939. She married Chester H. Bentley in 1932 at Aztec, N.M. He died in 1975. Survivors include four daughters, Maxine Eggers of Colorado Springs, Colo., LaVerle Hoover of Alamogordo, N.M., Joanne Davy of Goodwell and Carla Pickard of Italy, Texas; a sister, Frances Becher of Cortez; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a greatgreat-grandson.
