Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Llano Cemetery with Ray Milhoan, pastor of Country Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Wimsatt was born in Amarillo. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1982 and attended Amarillo College. He worked at Herzfeld Beauty and Barber Supply for several years before becoming a salesman for Great Western Directories. He was a scorekeeper for Amarillo Parks and Recreation Department softball and a member of Country Church. Survivors include a sister, Lynette Bolton of Midland; and his grandmother, Oma Penn of Amarillo. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. The body will not be available for viewing. Amarillo Daily News, May 10, 2000 Billy Powell Everett Billy Powell Everett, 24, formerly of Amarillo, died Monday, May 8, 2000, in Galveston. Memorial services were in Galveston. He was an organ donor and his body will be donated to the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Mr. Everett was born in Pampa. He recently moved from Amarillo to Galveston, where he was a diesel mechanic. He attended Central Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lanay Everett; a son, Dakota Cole Everett; his parents, Clifton and Tanna Everett of Carrollton and Butch and Lara Eastern of Galveston; and grandparents, Charles and Nell Everett of Amarillo and Junior and Katherine Williams of White Deer. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. B.F. Roberts Jr., pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Golden Gate Mortuary, 1416 N. Hughes St. Mrs. Davis attended school in Mart, where she lived until moving to Amarillo in 1956. She worked for Amarillo Independent School District. Mrs. Davis had been a member of St. Mary Baptist Church. She was a longtime member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as vice president of the Mission Society and sang with the church choir. She married Hector Davis in 1955. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Betty Hopwood Smith and Carla Burris, both of Amarillo; two sons, James E. Mitchell of Dallas and Tony Davis of Amarillo; a sister, Mary L. Brown of Hayward, Calif; two brothers, Allen Junior Gibson of Houston and Henry Walker of Baltimore; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She lived in Marshfield, Wis., until moving to Amarillo in 1950. She was a homemaker and a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church. She married Robert B. McDonald in 1936. He died in 1995. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Murray, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery by Dunn Funeral Home. Mr. Dow was born in Muleshoe, Texas. He was a lifetime resident of Tucumcari and graduated from Tucumcari High School. At the time of his death he was a framing carpenter. He attended First Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Jamie Dow of Albuquerque; his parents, James and Barbara Dow of Tucumcari; a sister, Beverly Dean of Tucumcari; a brother, Jerry Dow of Albuquerque; and grandmothers, Marjorie White and Louise Dow, both of Tucumcari. Mrs. Mitchell was born in Bonham, Texas and had been a resident of Tucumcari the past 65 years. She worked for Sno White Laundry and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband and by her second husband, Cleve Mitchell. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Duane Kirk and Gordon Kirk; and a daughter, Nelda Martin. Survivors include a son, B.J. Kirk of Hutto, Texas; six daughters, Mable Mitchell of Georgetown, Texas; Dorothy Wagner of Gallup, Betty Bruhn of Logan, Jo Anna La Munyon of Belen and Jo Evelyn Morton and Beverly Wiese, both of Tucumcari; 35 grandchildren; 66 greatgrandchildren; and 26 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Graham was born in Algona, Iowa. She graduated from high school in Algona and attended Iowa State University. She lived in Clayton since 1926. Mrs. Graham was a charter member of Chapter W of P.E.O. and the Clayton Garden Club. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She married Kenneth E. Wight. He died in 1945. She married Lawrence Ward Graham in 1947. He died in 1970. She also was preceded in death by a son, Edward Dick Wight, in 1980. Survivors include a son, Robert Bailey Wight of Desert Springs, Calif., five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Mrs. Vardell was born in Clarksville. She lived in Slaton for 18 years before moving to San Angelo 28 years ago. She married L.W. Vardell in 1950 at Clovis, N.M. He died in 1986. He died in 1998. She married Carl Ellig in 1930. She married Clifton B. Masoner in 1942 at Rantoul, Ill. He died in 1983.
