Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rusty Dickerson, pastor, officiating. Burial was at Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Hale County. She was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church and a member of Rebekah Lodge. In 1933 she moved from Dimmitt to Estelline. She lived in Bakersfield the past three years. She married Floyd Reynolds in 1933 at Amarillo. He died in 1977. She also was preceded in death by a son, Charles Reynolds, in 1950. Survivors include a daughter, Regene Blair of Bakersfield, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, July 13, 2000 Liddie Luevilla Gantz PAMPA - Liddie Luevilla Gantz, 92, died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, in Las Cruces, N.M. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Barry A. Loving, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Gantz was born in Wilson, Okla. She was a longtime resident of Pampa before moving to Las Cruces. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Pampa. After moving to Las Cruces, she became a member of the Mesilla Valley Christian Church. She married Herman T. Gantz in 1930. He died in 1974. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Moen and Dot Dougherty, both of Las Cruces; two sons, Dale Gantz of Las Cruces and David Gantz of Pampa; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First Christian Church, 1633 N. Nelson, Pampa, TX 79065; or University Terrace Good Samaritan Village, 3025 Terrace Drive, Las Cruces, NM 88011. The family will be at 2132 Mary Ellen. Amarillo Daily News, July 13, 2000 A.D. McCarty MULESHOE - A.D. "Delma" McCarty, 95, died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, in Lubbock. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church in Muleshoe with the Rev. Marisue Smith of First United Methodist Church in Lubbock officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home. Mr. McCarty was born in Aspermont. He had lived in Muleshoe for most of his life. He graduated from Lubbock High School in 1922 and attended Texas Tech. He was a Bailey County farmer and retired as assistant postmaster of the Muleshoe Post Office. He moved to Lubbock in 1999. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Muleshoe. Mr. McCarty married Ruth Harden in 1927 at Muleshoe. He was preceded in death by a son, Lt. Weldon McCarty, in 1956. Survivors include his wife; a son, Fuston McCarty of Lubbock; and four grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church, P.O. She had lived in Borger for 60 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Temple B'Nai Israel in Amarillo. She married Henry Berg in 1951 at Carlsbad, N.M. Survivors include her husband; a son, Dennis Berg of Borger; six daughters, Shirley Sanders, Cheryl Berg and Hannah Viator, all of Amarillo, Denise Reeves of Borger, Carol Mawhinney of Las Vegas and Beverly Phillips of Chula Vista, Calif.; a brother, Joe Klein of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two sisters Dorothy Stroud of Louisiana and Mona Major of Beaumont; and seven grandchildren. Survivors include his parents; a brother, Alexander Damon Andreas Goodson of Amarillo; a sister, Jessica James Michelle Goodson of Amarillo; and grandmother, Patricia Limbaugh of Lubbock. Amarillo Daily News, July 13, 2000 Billy Joe Hite Sr. Billy Joe Hite Sr., 72, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, July 12, 2000. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Dan Powers, minister of North Side Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Hite was born in Wellington. In 1947, he was honorably discharged from the Army. He moved from Wellington to Amarillo in 1957. He was a self-employed truck driver. He was a Christian and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. He married Pauline Dickey in 1955 at Turkey. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kim Dunlap of Amarillo; three sons, Billy Joe Hite Jr. of Amarillo, Stephen Hite of Galveston and Kevin Hite of Dallas; two brothers, Bruce Hite of Amarillo and Guthrie Hite of Edmond, Okla.; and four grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Foundation. The body will be available for viewing 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Denman was born in Joplin, Mo. She moved to Borger in 1940 from Miami, Okla. In 1977, she retired from M.E. Moses Variety Store in Borger. She had lived in Amarillo for the past 10 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Borger and the Order of the Eastern Star. She married E.R. Denman in 1938 at Joplin. He died in 1975. Survivors include a son, Roy Denman of Pampa; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. today in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Scott Adams officiating. Mrs. Aguirre was born in Los Angeles, Calif. She had been a resident of Guymon for the past three years, moving from El Paso, Texas. She had worked in the production department at Seaboard. Survivors include a daughter, Bobbie Jo Wilcox of Guymon, Okla.; three sisters, Lupe Aguirre of Sunland Park, N.M., Yolanda Hernandez of San Bernardino, Calif., and Susan Stanfield of Oklahoma.
