Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Royce Womack, retired Methodist minister from Amarillo, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Holding was born on a farm in Sweetwater, Okla., and moved to Pampa in 1914. She attended school in Lefors and Pampa. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church for 30 years and later became a member of First Christian Church. She was a member of the Pampa Garden Club, American Association of Retired Persons, Pampa Senior Citizens Center and Pampa Chapter No. 65 of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she was a past Worthy Matron. She married Sam T. Holding in 1930 at Sayre, Okla. He died in 1977. Survivors include a sister, Luella Kuehn of New Ulm. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity or local church. Mrs. Reeves was born in Hutchinson County and was a lifetime resident of the Borger area. She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of the National Hairdresser Association and the Texas Hairdresser Association. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curly Reeves, in 1983. Survivors include four daughters, Ellen Griffin and LaVania H. Jones, both of Fort Worth, Anita Stroud of Benbrook and Treva Harville of Lubbock; two brothers, Clarence Jasper of Stinnett and Earl Jasper of Arkansas; a sister, Wilma Waldrop of Ranier, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Curtis was born in New Boston and moved to Plainview in 1960. She worked for the Hilton Hotel and the American Legion. She worked 20 years for the Nu-Griddle Cafe. She was a Baptist. She married Carl Edward Brown in 1947 at DeKalb. He died in 1968. She married Jack Curtis in 1972. He died in 1998. Services will be at 2 p.m. CDT Wednesday in Texline School Auditorium with Fred Selby, minister of Texline Church of Christ, and Billy Rammage, pastor of First Baptist Church in Clayton, officiating. Burial will be in Texline Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors. Mrs. Kehoe was born in Tulia and graduated from Tulia High School in 1954. In 1957 she graduated from West Texas State College. She was a stewardess for TWA from 1957-67 and taught kindergarten eight years in Texline. She served on the Texline school board 12 years and on the Dallam County Fair board. She was a member of the Texline Library Association and served as president of the Texline Cemetery Association. She married Mac Kehoe in 1967. Survivors include her husband; and two sisters, Roberta Ramsey of Herndon, Va., and Carole Dean of Sam Rayburn. Visitation will be all day today and continues from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The body will not be available for viewing during services. He graduated from Stinnett High School in 1955 and attended West Texas State University on a football scholarship for one year. He moved to Amarillo and attended Amarillo Barber College. He opened Crossroads Barber Shop and later owned the Cork Club. He married Dana Lou Williams in 1954 at Clovis, N.M. Survivors include a son, Joey Don Prichard of Pilot Point; a daughter, Von Eva Foster of Pilot Point; two brothers, Arlyn Prichard of La Mesa, Calif., and Bob Prichard of Amarillo; a sister, Kay Abshire of Texarkana; and a half-brother, Dale Brant of Bartlesville, Okla. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband at Quality Upholstery and B & L Trailer Repair. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Donna Smith, in 1961; and a son, Donnie Smith in 1949. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis. Mrs. Melton was born in Coryell County, Texas. She was a homemaker. She married Noble E. Melton in 1921 at Post, Texas. He preceded her in death after 75 years of marriage. She also was preceded in death by a son, Newell E. Melton. Survivors include a son, Bill B. "Dub" Foster, 90, died Sunday, June 11, 2000. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens with Skip Clark officiating. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home. Mr. Foster was born in Success, Ark., and grew up in Doniphan, Mo., and Caruthersville, Mo. He earned a bachelor's degree from Murray State College at Murray, Ky., a master's degree from George Peabody College for Teachers at Nashville, Tenn., and his doctorate from the University of Arizona. A longtime educator in Missouri and New Mexico, he began teaching at Portageville, Mo., then became elementary school principal at Caruthersville. He was superintendent at Wardell, Mo., before moving to the Southwest. At Carlsbad he was a high school principal and later became superintendent at Raton and Farmington schools. He helped organize and direct branch community colleges at Carlsbad, Raton and Farmington. He was a member of the State Board of Education. He left New Mexico and taught for three years at the University of Arizona, then nine years at Central Missouri State University at Warrensburg, Mo. He was actively involved in church and civic affairs in each town where he lived. He returned to Clovis in 1996. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Lee Broach Foster; and a daughter, Frances Linda Foster. Survivors include his second wife, Helen Louise Faulkner McDowell Foster of Warrensburg; a daughter, Jean Foster Miller of Clovis; and two stepsons, Richard McDowell of Blue Springs, Mo., and Jim McDowell of Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tolby was born in Fort Kent, Maine. She was a civil servant at the Dow Air Force Base in Bangor, Maine. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church at Bangor and a member of the NCO Wives Club. She moved to Clovis in 1996. She married Henry Pelkey in 1924 at Greenville, Maine. She married George Tolby in 1948 at Fort Kent. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Tolby; and by a daughter. Survivors include two sons, Gilbert Pelletier of Bangor and Richard Pelletier of Wildwood, Fla.; a daughter, Gertrude Lacey of Clovis; a sister Remola Marifak of Orlando, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-greatgrandchildren. Mr. Mayo was born in Claremore and was a lifetime resident of Beaver County. He graduated from Beaver High School and earned a bachelor's degree in science. He served in the military during the Korean War. He was a rancher and longtime member of the Christian Church. He served on the Forgan School board 39 years and on the board of directors of the Oklahoma State School, where he was president in 1991. He married Wilma June "Billie" Kuncin 1952 at Stillwater. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Stephen Mayo of Stillwater and Randy Mayo of Beaver; a daughter, Meredith LeMaster of Bartlesville; his mother, Nina Cvaniga Mayo of Oklahoma City; a sister, Margaret Smith of Dallas; and seven grandchildren. He was a member of Western Hills Baptist Church and the Sons of the American Revolution. He married Martha A. Copenhaver in 1940 at Sugarland. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lucy Lee Keeth.
