Mrs. Barnert was born in Chipley, Fla. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had served as president of the Muleshoe PTA and was a member of the Ladies Golf Association of Muleshoe. She married Carl Barnert in 1947 at Las Cruces, N.M. Survivors include her husband; a son, Nick Barnert of Muleshoe; a daughter, Greta Hillin of Austin; a sister, Veleta Roberts of Panama City, Fla.; a brother, Willie Coogler of Las Cruces; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Floyd County Memorial Park by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home. Mrs. Grundy was born in Floyd County and was a lifelong resident of Floydada. She attended school in Lakeview and graduated from Floydada High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Spirit of Sharing, the Rebekah Lodge, Floydada Senior Citizens and Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Grundy, in 1978. Survivors include a son, Coy Grundy of Floydada; a daughter, Juandell Giles of Spur; a brother, H.H. She married Clifton Muir in 1939 at Evansville, Ind. He died in 1989. Survivors include a son, James D. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Reynolds was born in Gray County and was a lifelong resident. He was a pioneer rancher of Roberts County. He was a member of the Texas Southwestern Cattlemen's Association and was past board member of the Top O' Texas Rodeo Association. He was past member of the Tri-State Seniors Golf Association, the West Texas-New Mexico Golf Association and the Life Begins at 40 Golf Association. He was a member First United Methodist Church and the Men's Fellowship Sunday school class. Mr. Reynolds married Marge Skaggs in 1937 at Sayre, Okla. He had lived in Borger since 1959 and retired as chief probation officer from Hutchinson County. He was a member and elder of the First Christian Church. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Isom Masonic Lodge No. 1242, the Borger Shrine, the Khiva Shrine Temple, and the El Paso Scottish Rite. He was a past member of the Lions Club. Burial will be in Springlake Cemetery by Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home of Earth. Mr. Davis was born in Springlake and was a lifetime resident. He graduated from Springlake High School in 1954 and attended Texas Tech. He was past president of the TexasOklahoma Wolf Hunters Association. He also was past mayor and sheriff of Springlake and past secretary / treasurer for the Springlake Fire Department. Mr. Davis was involved in building the Little League Baseball Park in Earth and was a member of the Earth United Methodist Church. He married Sybil M. Byerly in 1954 at Clovis, N.M. She died in 1990. Survivors include a son, Del Davis of Earth; a daughter, Tammy Underwood of Muleshoe; a sister, Kay Posetti of Stockton, Calif.; a half-brother, Ricky Ingram of Ceres, Calif.; his fiancee, Louise Hollins of Lubbock; and three grandchildren. Ninth Ave. Mr. Weaver was born in Bloomfield, Mo., and had lived in Amarillo since 1963. He served in the Army Air Corps and the Air Force during World War II and the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karolina Weaver, in 1997. Survivors include a son, James R. Weaver of Catoosa, Okla.; a daughter, Linda Helsley of Amarillo; three brothers; four sisters; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He preceded her in death. He was a senior at Monterey High School. He was a member of the National Honor Society and was recognized as Who's Who among the high schools during his sophomore and junior years. He was an eighth-grade city wrestling champion and as a ninth-grader he placed third in city and fifth in regional competition for the power lifting team of Monterey High School. In November, he began competing as a bull rider in the C Bar T Winter Rodeo Series and placed second in novice class. He was a former member of the Boys Scouts of America and a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Ronnie and Sheree Foy of Lubbock; two brothers, Chad Foy and Keenan Foy, both of Lubbock; a sister, Amie Stafford of Whitharral; and grandparents, Oliver and Syvil Nell Smith of Amarillo and James A. and Peggy Foy of Lubbock.
