He died in 2000. He married Wanda Eisenman in 1960 at Perryton. After serving with the Navy during World War II, he attended the University of Arkansas flight school. From 1949 until 1956, he was a Department of Public Safety trooper in Moore County. He was a member of the Texas State Pistol Team. He worked for Prudential Insurance and retired as an operator from Phillips Petroleum in 1989. He married Frankie Murphy in 1950 at Dumas. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. MDT Saturday in the San Jon Cemetery in San Jon, N.M., with the Rev. Charles Waugh officiating. Arrangements are by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home. Mrs. Piehl was born in Durant, Okla., and had lived in Colorado City since 1976. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Colorado City. She married William "Bill" Piehl in 1924 at Amarillo. He died in 1952. She was also preceded in death by a stepson. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ellis of Colorado City and Lois Sanders of Los Lunas, N.M.; a son, Bill Piehl of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The family suggests memorials be to Texas 4-H Youth Foundation, P.O. Box 4-H, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX 77843; or First Baptist Church in Colorado City. Amarillo Daily News Oct. 13, 2000 Edna Idell Harding STEPHENVILLE - Edna Idell Harding, 83, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, in Mineral Wells. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Orsini officiating. Burial will be in Hannibal Cemetery at Hannibal Community. Mrs. Harding was born in McClain and moved to the Exray Community 15 years ago from Pecos. She retired as postmaster at Mentone and was a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter. She married Grady Harding in 1953 at Carlsbad, N.M. Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Jenny Jones of Grand Prairie, Wilma Dickerman of Phoenix, Elrain Wear of Spearman, and Lynn O'Leary of Gravette, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News Oct. 13, 2000 Winnie Marie Siedenstrang LUBBOCK - Winnie Marie Siedenstrang, 80, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in W.W. Rix Funeral Directors Chapel with Ken Jones officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Llano Cemetery at Amarillo with Doyle Corder Jr. officiating. Mrs. Siedenstrang was born in Swisher County. After graduating from Tulia High School, she attended Draughon's Business College in Amarillo. From 1943 until 1966, she was a homemaker. She then worked as a ward clerk in the Respiratory Rehabilitation Center of Methodist Hospital until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of Sunset Church of Christ. She married Arthur H. Siedenstrang in 1942 at Amarillo. He died in 1966. Survivors include a daughter, Arla Jean Loter of Lubbock; two sisters, Edna Hoggins Herndon of Amarillo and Irene Miller of Lubbock; and three brothers, Fred Corder of Lubbock, Joel Corder of Amarillo and Gene Corder of Summer Shade, Ky.
