Services will be private. Arrangements are by Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Homes. Mr. Wade was born and raised in Amarillo. He earned his degree in English at West Texas State University. He moved to Litchfield, Conn., where he taught English at Forman School for Boys and Girls. He had also been a basketball and tennis coach at the school. In 1973 he established an office in Bennington as a journalistic practitioner for the First Church of Christ Scientist. He lived in Hoosick Falls, N.Y. and Searsburg before settling in 1975 at Bennington. He served on the executive board for the church and had been first reader and taught Sunday school. He was a member of Bennington Men's Tennis League. He married Ann Marie Minter in Amarillo. Mr. Voiles was born in Hooker. He earned degrees in biology and geology at the University of Oklahoma. During World War II he served in the Navy in the Pacific Theater on Guadalcanal. He was a photographic interpretation specialist. He returned to Hooker, where he and his brother, DeVon, co-owned Voiles Motor Co. from 1947 to 1961. He moved to Perryton and continued partnership with his brother at Voiles Ford Inc. He was a member of the board of FirstBank Southwest in Perryton. He was president of the Chamber of Commerce and a member of First Methodist Church, Lion's Club and the YMCA. He married Johnye Meador Allen in 1972 at Perryton. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Anita Brawner Voiles; and by a son, Timothy Fletcher Voiles. He had served on the National Bank of Commerce board and was a Chamber of Commerce Goldcoat. He served on the board of Pampa Economic Development Corp. In 1991 he received the Small Business Award from the State of Texas and in 1998 was awarded the Western Image Award for Single Unit Retailers. He married Carol Whitson in 1971 at Hollis, Okla.
