Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. John Valdez, pastor of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Yinger was born in Zanesville, Ohio. During World War II he served aboard the USS Bainbridge and the USS Sumter. He lived in Dayton, Ohio, before moving to Pampa in 1998. In Dayton, he was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion Post No. 675 and I.B.E.W. Union. He married Mary Eileen Brinker in 1950 at Cincinnati. She died in 1999. Survivors include four children, Jeanne Ann Gould of Dallas, Richard Joseph Yinger of Dayton, Mary Julia Long of Pampa and John Carl Yinger of Del City, Okla.; a sister, Carolyn Kastelic of Stow, Ohio; a brother, James Yinger of Margate, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was a longtime resident of Borger before moving to Santa Fe. He had been a rancher, car dealer and artist. Mr. Winkler married O'Berta Campmire in 1937 at Paola, Kan. She died in 1995. She taught for 31 years in New Mexico, Lakeview, Clarendon, Claude, Tulia and Perryton. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She married Glenn Hoggatt in 1941 at Childress. He died in 1999. She also was preceded in death by a son, Terry Hoggatt. Survivors include a daughter, Glynell McCoy of Perryton; a brother, Ralph Grady of Clarendon; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be later at Lake Travis and Mount Bonnell in Hill County. Ms. Duncanson was born in Hobart, Okla. She earned a nursing degree from Oklahoma State University in 1940. During World War II, she served several years as a registered nurse in Oklahoma City hospitals, including Children's Hospital, where she was head nurse. She married Vincent Schlegel in 1945 and they moved to Amarillo in 1950. She took courses in writing and computers, painted watercolors and was involved in hospice work. Ms. Duncanson was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia, in March. Survivors include a daughter, Sister Anne Brigid Schlegel of Corpus Christi; a son, Dennis Schlegel of Burkburnett; and a granddaughter. The family suggests memorials be to the Humane Society. Osage St. Mrs. Lain was born in Sylvester and lived in Amarillo 64 years. In 1981 she retired from East Amarillo Church of Christ, where she also was a member. She married George Vernon Lain in 1929. He died in 1952. She also was preceded in death by a son, Burton Lain, in 1981. Fifth Ave. Mrs. Neel lived in England several years. During World War II she served in the Royal Air Force at Scotland and England. She later worked as a housekeeper in London. In 1947 she moved to Amarillo where she was a self-employed drapery maker for many years. She married Kimble Jackson Neel in 1949 at Amarillo. He died in 1962. Charles F. Bader officiating. Burial will be in Santa Fe National Cemetery at Santa Fe by Muffley Funeral Home. Mr. Barnard was born in East Orange, N.J., and was a longtime resident of Clovis. He graduated from Clovis High School in 1965. He began working for the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railway as a switchman in 1966 and later became a conductor. He served in the military during the Vietnam War and received three Purple Hearts. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3280, First United Methodist Church and the Men's Breakfast Prayer Group. He was a past member of Demolay. He married Debbie McDonald in 1972 at Portales. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mr. Urioste was born in Dilia. During the Korean and Vietnam Wars he was a master sergeant in the Air Force. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3280 and American Legion Post No. 25. He married Flora E. Garcia in 1950. She died in February. Mrs. Seaton was born in Onaga, Kan. She lived in Des Moines and in 1941 moved to Amarillo where she and her husband owned the Pantex Grocery Store. She moved to Clovis in 1972 and was a member of the Parkland Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She married Alfred E. Seaton in 1918 at Clayton. He died in 1998. Survivors include a son, Donald Seaton of Angel Fire; two daughters, Betty Russell of Aztec and Louise German of Portales; nine grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. LaFavor was born in Kibby. She moved to Clearlake in 1925 and graduated from Beaver High School in 1930. She was active in Scouting and was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was a longtime resident of the Beaver area. She later moved to Guymon and Liberal. She married C.O. Nelson in 1930 at Audrain County, Mo. She married Walter LaFavor in 1940 at Branson, Mo. She was preceded in death by Mr. LaFavor and by a daughter, Travanna Sue. Survivors include a son, Harold LaFavor of Lake Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Hellen Evans of Liberal; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tyler was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Classen High School in 1933 and earned a business degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1937. She was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She and her husband lived in Boulder, Colo., before moving to Guymon in 1937. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and served on church committees. She received a lifetime membership in the Presbyterian Women in 1998. She married Oliver S. Tyler in 1937 at Oklahoma City. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Patricia R. He married Judy Cordell Robertson in 1981 at Allison. Johnson, 74, formerly of Canyon, Texas, died Friday, May 12, 2000, in Green River, Utah. Services will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church. Entombment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery by Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home. Dr. Johnson was a native of Canyon. He earned his bachelor's degree in chemistry at West Texas State University and his medical degree at Tulane University. During the Korean War he was chief of EENT services at Army and Navy hospitals. He was a retired ophthalmologist and former chairman of the department of ophthalmology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center at Jackson. He served as chairman of the Association of Research and Vision in Ophthalmology. He was president of the International Association of Secretaries of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngological Societies; the Mississippi Ear, Nose and Throat Association; the James H. Allen Residents' Society; and the Louisiana-Mississippi Ophthalmological and Otolaryngological Society. He was a member of the Flying Physician's Association International. He was a fellow of the American College Surgeons, the Academy of Ophthalmology and the Law Science Academy of America. In 1998 he was medical director of the Mississippi Lions Eye Bank. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Mississippi Opera Association, Jackson Symphony Association and Jackson Little Theatre board. In 1999 was elected to the Goodwill Class of Outstanding Volunteers. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Alice Johnson and Margaret Sudduth, both of Jackson; a son, Lee Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas; a stepson, Hal White of Jackson; three sisters; and five grandchildren.
