Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bobby McMillan, pastor of St. John's United Methodist Church of Lubbock, and the Rev. Clark Williams, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Canyon, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Fairlawn Cemetery at Amherst with the Rev. David Ceballos, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Amherst, officiating. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors. Mrs. Holladay was born in Follett. She earned her bachelor's degree from McMurry University and her master's degree from West Texas State University. She lived and taught at Happy, White Deer, Pampa and Olton. She was assistant superintendent of schools for Boys Ranch Independent School District. She had lived in Canyon since 1969. Survivors include four daughters, Dr. Leslie Patterson of Denton, Glenda Eoyang of Circle Pines, Minn., Royce Holladay of Everett, Wash.; and Jo Tisa Kleman of Fort Worth; and seven grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church of Amherst; Canyon Library Building Fund, P.O. Box 1415, Canyon, TX 79015; or Gene Campbell Fire Department, P.O. Box 8, Amherst, TX 79312. Enoch "Pete" Peterson Jr., 82, of Amarillo, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Llano East Cemetery with the Rev. Mark A. Cattau, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Military graveside honors will be rendered by Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 26. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Peterson was born in Stonewall, Colo. During World War II he served with the Army's 18th Field Artillery Division. He moved to Amarillo in 1967. He was a supervisor for I.C.X. Trucking Co. in Denver and Amarillo. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He married Iris Thompson in 1942 at Oklahoma City. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Eric Peterson of Amarillo and Norman Peterson of Falls Church, Va.; two sisters, Joan Woodward of Shelton, Wash., and Eva Farnsworth of Phoenix; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
