Survivors include his wife, Irene; three daughters, Linda Long, Glenda Meyer and Sharon Collins, all of Amarillo; four sons, Billy, David, Larry and David Pitt, all of Amarillo;a sister, Jean Pitt of Fort Worth; a brother, Belmont Pitt of Fort Worth; 12 grandchildren and 27 greatgrandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Oct. 18, 2000 Terry Joe Taylor Terry Joe Taylor, 41, formerly of Amarillo, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000, in Plano. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel in McKinney, with the Rev. Dotty Luera officiating. Burial will be in Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. Mr. Taylor was born in Cushing, Okla. He was a sales representative in the home building industry and a member of the Christian faith. Survivors include his parents, Mary and Dale Southarp of Amarillo and Jerry and Lani Taylor of Runaway Bay; five sisters, Sherry Armstrong of Richmond, Va., Kari Taylor and Llari Schneider, both of Plano, Mary Lee of Amarillo and Trina Taylor of New York; and two brothers, Gary Taylor of Oklahoma City and Ricky Taylor of Gulf Port, Miss. Amarillo Daily News, Oct. 18, 2000 Maggie Katherine Krizan Maggie Katherine Hoffman Krizan, 86, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2000. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue & Pierce Street, with the Rev. Danny R. Chisum of Northwest Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Krizan was born in Corsicana and moved to Amarillo in 1935. She worked as a secretary for the Women's Missionary Association and was active in PTA. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. She married Edwin Charles Krizan in 1938 in Amarillo. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Charles Edwin Krizan of Amarillo; a daughter, Kay Nelson of Amarillo; a stepson, Herman Wade Krizan of San Antonio; a stepdaughter, La Jauana Bustamente of Amarillo; a brother, Robert James Hoffman of Dallas; two sisters, Carrie McGill of Dallas and Nellie Plunkett of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Werfelman was born in Silver City, N.M., and was a longtime resident of the Amarillo and Canyon area. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Inman was born in Champaign, Ill., and lived in Amarillo 53 years. She managed the shoe departments at Fedway, The Hub and Mayfair and worked at Kenyon Shoes. She taught arts and crafts at the Senior Citizens Association and volunteered at Independence Village. She was a member of Westview Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Inman. Survivors include two sons, Charles Samuel Inman III of Kelseyville, Calif., and David Lee Inman of Amarillo; two daughters, Nancy Kay Lanzel and Judy Miller, both of Grand Prairie; a sister, Dortha Jarvis of Urbana, Ill.; a brother, Wayne Casey of Cicero, Ind.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Stratford Cemetery at Stratford. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Childs was born in Chillicothe. He was a longtime resident of Stratford and moved to Amarillo in 1984. He was regional manager for Solitaire Homes Inc. of Amarillo. He was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church and the Trinity Fellowship Life Group. He married Jean Cummings in 1972 at Hereford. Survivors include his wife; a son, Terry Bilbrey of Abilene; a daughter, Tammy Currie of Amarillo; two sisters, LaVon Neel of Lubbock and Sharlotte Donaldson of Paducah; a brother, Kent Childs of Dallas; and five grandchildren. Mr. Marshall was born and raised in Kirby, Ark. He moved to Amarillo in 1951. He worked for Dwight Cheek Trucking and Robert Heath Trucking. He retired in February. He married JoAnn Harris in 1963 at Winterhaven, Calif. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Mitchell, in 1998. Survivors include his wife; six daughters, Ganetta Marshall of Pampa, Gail Jaime of United Arab Emirates, and Barbara Wood, Cherie Anderson, Donna Waechter and Barbara W. Mr. Williams was born in Chillicothe and was a longtime resident of Sudan. He served in the Air Force and was a mist blower operator for the Boll Weevil Eradication Program. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Morgan Williams and Erica Williams, both of Rocky Ford, Colo.; his parents, John Williams and C.A. Williams of Sudan; a sister, Jon Ann Mercado of Denver City; two brothers, Jimmy Williams of Saginaw and Ken Williams of Sudan; and a grandmother, Estelle Lowe of Amherst. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Holdaway was born in Beggs, Okla. He graduated from Davenport, Okla., High School. He served in the Army during World War II and received the Purple Heart. He moved to Pampa in 1946. He retired from Kerr-McGee in 1981 and also worked more than 60 years as a carpenter. He was a member and deacon of First Assembly of God. He married Ruth Evelyn Jewell in 1946 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Linda Box of Edmond, Okla., Donna Engle of Canadian and Jana Perez of Pampa; a sister, Menerva J. Pierce of Oklahoma City and two grandchildren. Mrs. Clements was born in Dumont and had been a longtime resident of Cottle County. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church. She married J.D. Clements in 1948 at Paducah. Mr. Beaty was born in Parmer County and was a lifetime resident of Friona. He graduated from Friona High School. He was a farmer and a member of Sixth Street Church of Christ. Survivors include his mother, Willie Robinson of Friona; and four sisters, Linda Beaty of Dallas, Wanda Jones and Zelma Thorn, both of Friona and Jo Ann Bowen of Tucson, Ariz. Amarillo Daily News, Oct. 18, 2000 Lillian O. Jones FRIONA - Lillian O. "Crow" Jones, 91, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Geary Brogden of Albuquerque, N.M., and the Rev. Don Boren officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery by Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones was born in Brown County and was a longtime resident of Friona. She was a sales clerk at Crows Meat Co. and Housers Grocery. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married W.H. "Shorty" Jones in 1939 at Clovis, N.M. He died in 1973. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Dewayne Cleveland in 1992 and Charles Jones in 1995. Survivors include two sons, Roy L. Jones of Elkins and W.L. "Dub" Cleveland of Friona; two daughters, Doris Allison of Eugene, Ore., and Raye Jena London of Friona; and three sisters, Dophine Betzen and Sue Inmon, both of Hereford and Jewell Robason of Friona.
