Mrs. Clements was born and raised in Hennessey. She attended Oklahoma College for Women and earned her bachelor's degree from what is now Central State University at Edmond, Okla. She was a member of the American Association of University Women. She taught school in Oklahoma and New Mexico and substituted in Amarillo schools for 10 years. She was a secretary in the city of Amarillo fire marshal's office. She was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church, where she worked in the library for 20 years and was a member of the Friendship Sunday school class. She was a pianist and played for services at a retirement home. She married F. Jack Clements in 1947 at Oklahoma. He died in 1983. Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Hon of Oklahoma City; and a nephew, Rodger Clements of Gunnison, Colo. He was a tech sergeant in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He retired in 1973 from the U.S. Postal Service in Amarillo. He participated in golf and baseball and softball leagues in Amarillo. He was twice a winner of the Top of Texas Senior Golf Tournament in Pampa and a three time winner of the Duncan & Boyd's Putt Powell Seniors Classic Golf Tournament. He married Dorothy Ruth King in 1954 at Amarillo. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Roush, in 1980. Survivors include his wife; a son, David L. Ellis of Plano; two brothers, Don Roush of Midland and Larry Roush of Amarillo; a sister, Helen Weaver of Longview; three grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. Her body was donated to Texas Tech University Health Sciences at Lubbock. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Ms. Woolley was born in Lampasas County. She attended school in Moline. A former resident of Lometa, she lived in Amarillo 27 years before moving to Austin 15 years ago. She was living in Amarillo at the time of her death. She was a licensed practical nurse. She taught Sunday school at Englewood Estates Retirement Center until she was 92. She married Virgil "Turk" Woolley in 1941. He died in 1962. Survivors include two daughters, Maisie McMahan Everett of Amarillo and Nellie McMahan Hempen of Austin; two sisters, Euva Blodgett of Goldthwaite and Edna Spivey of Weatherford; two brothers, Berley Hightower and Art Hightower, both of Lometa; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a great-greatgrandson. Mrs. Alexander was born and raised in the Sampsel community and attended country schools in the area. After graduating from high school she attended Panhandle Agricultural Institute in Goodwell. She worked at Cimarron Memorial Hospital and in Dr. Wheeler's office for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Rebekah's Lodge, Athenaeum Club and the Blue Belles Auxiliary, all of Boise City. She married Lewis Edward Alexander in 1935 at Dalhart, Texas. He died in 1992. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Louise, in 1992. Survivors include a son, Morris Alexander of Boise City; a sister, Elsie Ruth Dowd of Amarillo; two granddaughters; and three great-grandsons. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today in the chapel. Mr. McFall was born in Miller, Ark. In 1942 he moved to Borger, Texas, where he worked most of his life for Phillips Petroleum Co. In 1964 at Borger he married Nadine Brumley. He lived in Mountain Grove since 1991. Mrs. Sevier was born in Floyd County and had been a resident of El Paso since 1939. She was a graduate of West Texas State University and earned a master's degree at Texas Western College of Mines. She taught at numerous schools in Texas and New Mexico for 52 years, retiring from Yselta I.S.D. She was recipient of several awards including Woman of the Year in 1987 by the El Paso Political caucus and was entered into the retired teachers Hall of Fame for her 39 years of service with Y.I.S.D. She was a former member of North Loop Church of Christ and was a member of Montwood Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sevier, and a son, Leroy Sevier. Survivors include a son, Lonnie Sevier of Clifton; a daughter, Carolyn Sevier Smith of Houston; four sisters, Mary Dorris of Clovis, N.M., Alta Mae Higgins of Hereford, Kate Bradley of Adrian and Chloe Dowd of Laurel, Ind.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Harwell of Dallas. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 19, 2000 Ronald D.Wagner TEXHOMA, Okla. - Ronald D. Wagner, 65, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000 at his home in Texhoma. Vigil will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Guymon, with Dr. B.J. Dollins officiating. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter's, with the Rev. Scott Adams officiating. Burial will be in Texhoma Cemetery, directed by Dawson-Welch Funeral Home. Mr. Wagner was born in 1935 at Guymon. He grew up near Hardesty and graduated from Hardesty High School. He married Marie Welch in 1954 at Clayton, N.M. He served in the Air Force from May 1955 to February 1959, then moved to the Wagner family farm. The family moved to Texhoma in 1975, where they operated Texhoma Auto Parts. He was chairman of the Texas County Farm Bureau for many years. He was a member of the Texhoma Fire Department for 20 years. He was a state fire department instructor. He worked with the Boy Scouts. In 1992 he and his wife were given the Community Service Award by the Texhoma Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Tara Batman of Salina, Kan., Tammy Stodghill of Guymon and Theresa Gunn of Peoria, Ariz.; two sons, Tony Wagner of Turpen and Tim Wagner of Kansas City, Kan.; and a sister, Margaret Wagner of Guymon. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was past president of Dumas Noon Lions Club; a 32nd degree Mason and co-owner of NuWay Pork. He married Rachel Bernice Brooks in 1938 at Shamrock and was an aircraft mechanic for the federal government before retiring in 1968. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Orvis Jean "Jeannie" Cates, in 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in College Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Robertson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. McMurtry was born in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1946. She attended Baylor University School of Nursing in Dallas, Baylor University School of Anesthesia and Wayland Baptist University. She was a free-lance anesthesiologist and worked at Nichols Hospital, Plainview Hospital and Roswell Memorial Hospital. She also worked for Hale County Health Dept. She was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi fraternity, a member of Business and Professional Women and past member of the Civil Air Patrol. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, a Hospice volunteer and a member of College Heights Baptist Church. She married Merle McMurty in 1974 at Plainview. He died in 1998. Survivors include two brothers, Haskell Spain of Plainview and Ray Brown of Keller. The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society or Nila Copeland Scholarship Fund, P.O. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Luedecke was born in Pampa and graduated from Pampa High School in 1983. After graduating from Amarillo College with an associate degree in instrumentation he worked for Robert Knowles Chrysler-Dodge. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and Pampa Masonic Lodge No. 966 AF&AM. Survivors include a son, Aric Luedecke of Pampa; his parents, Ralph and Cindy Abbott of Pampa; a sister, Mechelle Abbott of Lubbock; a brother, Bill Luedecke of Elmwood Park, N.J.; and grandparents, Frances Lam and Richard and Ruth Abbott, all of Pampa.
