He was a member of Southeast Baptist Church. He was living in Farmland at the time of his death. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue & Pierce Street. Mrs. Mooney was born in Dexter, N.M. She attended schools in Dexter and Hagerman, N.M. She moved in 1967 to Amarillo, where she owned and operated Mooney Upholstery. She was a charter member of Coulter Road Baptist Church. She married Granville Lee Mooney in 1939 at Roswell, N.M. He died in 1986. She also was preceded in death by a son, James Lee Mooney Sr., in 1997. Survivors include a daughter, Sheilah Mooney, of the home; a son, Granville Lee Mooney Jr. of Checotah, Okla.; three sisters, Barbara Poole of Lovington, N.M., Alda Horn of Alvarado and Eva Glynn Freeman of Ruidoso, N.M.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Drake was born and raised in Waynoka, Okla. He graduated from Waynoka High School in 1945. During World War II he served in the Army. He had lived in Amarillo since 1965. He was a conductor for Santa Fe Railway for 35 years. He worked as a fishing guide at Lake Texhoma. He married Donna Mittelstet in 1959 at Fairview, Okla. She died in 1983. He married Mary Whipple in 1984 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lori Williams of Amarillo and Tama Clapper of Joplin, Mo.; two sons, Brian Drake of New Canaan, Conn., and Mac Drake of Waynoka; a stepson, Danne Whipple of Canyon; a stepdaughter, Linda Whipple-Baker of Amarillo; his mother, Lorene Drake of Alva, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Beckner was born in Ott, Union County, N.M. He also lived in Nevada, California and Colorado from 1939 until he retired. He moved to Clayton in 1979. He married Krystella A. "Kristy" Hughes in 1931 at Des Moines, N.M. She died in 1994. He also was preceded in death by a son, Brainerd Hughes "Hutch" Beckner in 1971. Survivors include a son, Dr. James B. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Otero, in 1987. Mr. Wilkinson was born in Guymon and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from high school in 1953. He attended Panhandle A&M College at Goodwell and St. Mary's College in Dodge City, Kan. He served in the Army from 1956-58, stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. From 1960 until 1991 he worked for the Texas County Assessor's Office. He was a caretaker for the Panhandle State University Golf Course until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, the Elks Club, the Knights of Columbus and the Guymon Municipal Golf Course. He married Mary Jane Rhoton in 1970 at Colorado Springs, Colo. She died in 1989. Survivors include two brothers, C.J. Wilkinson of Goodwell and Joe Wilkinson of Volcano, Hawaii. The family suggests memorials be to American Cancer Society. Mrs. Tillman was born in Telephone. She attended public schools in Paris and in 1947 moved to Amarillo, where she graduated from Carver High School. She attended nursing school while living in California. In 1964 she returned to Amarillo, then moved to Houston in 1975. She was a former member of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Amarillo. Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Gilbreath of Amarillo; two sisters, Kay Campbell and Renay Asberry, both of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
