Mrs. Ward was born in Abilene and lived in Canyon where she was a graduate of Canyon High School and West Texas State University. In 1964, she moved to Dumas and taught business at Dumas High School. She was a homemaker and teacher. She married Gary Ward in 1964 at Canyon. He died in 1996. Mr. Lansdon was born and attended schools in Marlow, Okla. He worked for BJ Pump service. After serving with the Army Air Corps from 1944 until 1947, he moved to Abernathy. In 1965, he moved from Idalou to Plainview, where he owned both Plainview Machine & Tool and Midway Pipe. From 1983 until 1985, he owned Columbia Machine. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Living Water Emmaus and Trinity Fellowship Church. He married Diana Henderson in 1950 at Idalou. Mr. Word was born in Dimmitt and was a longtime resident of both Dimmitt and Amarillo before moving to Big Spring in 1989. During World War II, he served with the Army. He served as fire marshal in Dimmitt. He was in the trucking business and before working for Steer Tank Lines, he was an independent operator. He transferred from Steer in Amarillo to Big Spring as the terminal manager. He married Edna Gertrude Schur in 1971 at Amarillo. She died in 1998. They lived in the Higgins, Texas area before moving to the Lanagin Ranch, north of Bellevue, Texas, in 1954. He died in 1974. While living in Texline, Texas, she married Allen Smith in 1981. After his death in 1989, she moved to Clovis. She was a member of Texline United Methodist Church, Texline Chapter No. 640 of Order of Eastern Star, and AARP. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, David Page; a granddaughter, Brenda Page; and a great-grandson, Jared Dillon. Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Page of Grand Junction, Colo., Bill Page of Grady and Mac Page of Clovis; a daughter, Maudine Hamilton of Laverne, Okla.; a stepdaughter, Patty Carter of Clayton; two stepsons, Lawrence Smith of Texline and Kenneth Smith of Hartley, Texas; seven grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. MST Tuesday in Flagstaff Mortuary in Flagstaff, Ariz., with Mark Axtell officiating. Burial will be in Flagstaff Cemetery by Flagstaff Mortuary. Local arrangements are by Cimarron Mortuary in Boise City. Mrs. Berlin was born in Stone County, Mo., where she attended school. In 1938, she moved to California. She worked for J.C. Penney in Flagstaff and as a clerk in the post office in Marble Canyon, Ariz. She also worked shuttling cars. Mrs. Berlin had been on several bowling teams. She later moved to Boise City where she was a member of First Baptist Church in Duncan. Her first marriage was in 1939 to Stan Harper. In 1974, she married Kenneth Berlin who preceded her in death. She attended Sayre Junior College and Southwestern State Oklahoma University, where she received her bachelor of science in psychology in 1990. She worked at Grand Place Nursing Center in Sayre as the Activities Director. In 1991, she worked for the Department of Human Services as a social worker at the Sayre office before transferring to the Cheyenne office in 1993. She was a board member of the Cheyenne All Sports Association and a member of Sweetwater First Baptist Church, where she served as the Youth Leader. She married Mark Boswell in 1981 at Sweetwater.
