Mrs. Rawlins was born in Gordonville, Texas. She worked in the motel industry. Survivors include two sons, Donald Johnson of Amarillo and Jimmy R. Johnson of Lufkin; and four grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 21, 2000 Billy Paul Fraley Billy Paul Fraley, 74, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000. Private memorial services were Wednesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle with the Rev. Leonard Forsyth officiating. Cremation has taken place. Mr. Fraley was born in Burkburnett and had lived in Amarillo for the past 20 years. He served during World War II in the Pacific with the Navy. He was a pilot and commercial flight instructor. He was a retired oil field consultant and a member of the Thunderbird Masonic Lodge in Phoenix. Mr. Fraley married Jackie Stewart in 1942 at Perryton. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bill Fraley II and Greg Fraley, both of Amarillo and Dana Fraley of Phoenix; a daughter, Paula Odle of Amarillo; three brothers, Virgil Fraley of Arlington, Jack Fraley of Diamond Bar, Calif., and Lewis Fraley of Houston; two sisters, Linda Jackson and Floetta Carruth, both of Borger; seven grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren. Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Follett United Methodist Church in Follett with the Rev. Chris Ford officiating. Burial was in Fairmont Cemetery at Follett by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Booker, Texas. Mr. Parker was born in Pampa and was a longtime resident of the Amarillo and Pampa areas. He attended Amarillo High School. He had lived at Taos for three years. He was a home builder and master carpenter. Survivors include his wife, Maya Parker; a daughter, Jennifer Parker of Clarendon; his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Jim Holder of Nocona Lake; his father and stepmother, Paul and Laverne Coronis of Pampa; two brothers, Paul Parker of Follett and Corey Coronis of Pampa; and a grandson. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 21, 2000 Juanita Mae Hamilton CLAYTON, N.M. - Juanita Mae "Nita" Hamilton, 77, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, in Oklahoma City. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Boyd, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors. Mrs. Hamilton was born in Mangum, Okla. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she served as church secretary from 1971 to 1989. She married Halam Lane "Hal" Hamilton in 1946 at Clayton. He died in 1989. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Hurt of Oklahoma City; a son, Sid Hamilton of Santa Fe; and three grandsons. The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church in Clayton; or to the Mercy Hospice in Oklahoma City. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 21, 2000 Harold W. Goin TUCUMCARI, N.M. - Harold W. Goin, 91, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Peter Denlea, a United Presbyterian minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home. Mr. Goin was born in Illinois and moved to Tucumcari 45 years ago. He owned and operated a gift and curio shop and attended the Presbyterian church. He marred Dessa Perkins in 1931 at Clinton, Ill. She died in 1995. Survivors include a daughter, Mickey Page of Tucumcari; two sisters, Ruby Goin and Mary Jane Neimann, both of Camdenton, Mo.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 21, 2000 W.E. Brack CLOVIS, N.M. - W.E. "Bill" Brack, 80, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000. Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. today in the Chapel at Muffley Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Carlos Chavez officiating. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Mr. Brack was born in Fulton, Mo., and raised in Southern California, where he attended high school and was an AllStar football and baseball player. He served in the Navy during World War II. He lived in Los Angeles, working for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad and was transferred to Chicago in 1957 as the superintendent of transportation. In 1965, Mr. Brack moved to Clovis and was superintendent of the New Mexico division until 1971 when he moved back to Chicago as general manager of freight train operations. He retired in 1978 and returned to Clovis. After retirement he served on the local and state board of Presbyterian Health Care Services. He was a a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and served on the parish council. He married Margie Lukensmeyer in 1945 at Seattle. Survivors include his wife; four sons, William Munster of San Diego, William Brack of Wackersberg, Germany, and Bob Brack and Brian Brack, both of Clovis; two daughters, Patricia Cantwell of Portales and Kathie Burnside of Edmonds, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Joe Arrington Cancer Center, Covenant Medical Lakeside, 4000 24th St., Lubbock, TX 79410. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Hardesty United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Calvert, pastor, officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Hartville Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Mr. Hendrix was born in Willow. He graduated from Spearman High School at Spearman, Texas, in 1944. He married Rosa Lee Reed in 1947 at Waka, Texas. They moved from Hardesty to Sunray, Texas, in 1959. He was manager of the Perryton Equity Grain Elevator at Perryton, Texas, from 1959 until retirement in 1986. He had managed elevators in Waka, Perryton, Sunray and Morris, Texas. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Hardesty United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Cynthia DeArmond of Spearman; Shanna Medeiros of Liberal and Rene Avent of Stinnett, Texas; two sisters, Betty Welch of Wichita Falls, Texas and Lee Marie Watson of Fairfield, Va.; three brothers, Alfred Hendrix of Graham, Texas, Dan Dacus of Lees Summit, Mo., and Ted Dacus of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street of Amarillo. Mrs. Harp was born in Goodnight. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Harp. Survivors include a son, Don Taylor of Tulsa; a sister, Edith Wincompleck of Amarillo; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 21, 2000 Wilbert A. Meier SHATTUCK, Okla. - Wilbert A. Meier, 89, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Mason Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Ford officiating. Burial will be in Shattuck Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Meier was born and raised on his family's farm southwest of Shattuck and attended schools there. He married Pauline Steinert in 1931 at Shattuck. They lived on the family farm until 1975, when they moved into Shattuck. He continued farming and ranching until his retirement. His wife died in 1993. Mr. Meier was living in Booker, Texas, at the time of his death. He also was preceded in death by a son, Jacob Meier, in 1991. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Ragan of Darrouzett, Texas; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 21, 2000 Olive Lorene Hiner KEYES, Okla. - Olive Lorene Hiner, 84, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, in Amarillo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Keyes Baptist Church with Harold James and Harold Hook officiating. Burial will be in Willowbar Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary of Boise City. Mrs. Hiner was born in Hoxie, Kan., and moved to Richards, Colo. In 1928, she moved to Gladstone, N.M., and in the 1930s to Keyes, where she graduated from Keyes High School in 1936. She married William Earnest Hiner in 1948 at Clayton, N.M. They operated the Keyes Hotel and farmed. They moved to Boise City and operated American Hotel and farmed. In 1979 they moved to Amarillo, where they worked for the State Center Home. They returned to Boise City in 1986. Her husband died in 1988 and she moved to Amarillo. Mrs. Hiner was a member of the First Baptist Church in Boise City. She also was preceded in death by a stepson, Norman Ray Hiner. Survivors include a son, Bill Hiner of Amarillo; a stepson, Al Hiner of Arizona; a stepdaughter, Naomi Faye Paulsen of Arizona; three sisters, Nina Kohler of Boise City, Marie Baldridge of Othello, Wash., and Velma Jean Ballard of Lovington, N.M.; a granddaughter; seven step-grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes Ocean Springs Chapel. Burial will be in Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach. Mrs. Smith had lived in the Ocean Springs community since 1995 and formerly worked at VL Graphics in Ocean Springs. She was a Methodist. Survivors include her husband, Michael Smith; two sons, Joshua Adams of Gautier, Miss., and Nathan Thomas of Biloxi, Miss.; a sister, Claudie Harrel of Gautier; and a grandchild. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 21, 2000 Bobby Joe Richardson CORPUS CHRISTI - Bobby Joe Richardson, 66, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street in Amarillo with the Rev. Kenneth Smith, of Victory Tabernacle Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Amarillo. Mr. Richardson was born in Memphis and had lived in Amarillo since 1937. He moved to Locust Grove, Okla., in 1974 and then to Corpus Christi in 1991. In Amarillo, he owned B & Z Overhead Door Co. He was a race car driver in Amarillo, Tulsa and Lubbock. Mr. Richardson managed Locust Grove Overhead Door Co. He married Vera Foster in 1956 at Tucumcari, N.M. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sheri Richardson McFall of Corpus Christi; two brothers, W.E. "Curly" Richardson of Amarillo and Harold Richardson of Elector; three sisters, Evelyn Weir and Marland Gartman, both of Dallas, and Margaret Tallman of Davenport, Iowa; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
