Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery at Lefors. Mrs. Hagemann was born in Lefors. She was a 1949 graduate of Lefors High School and the Pampa business college. She married Jess Carl Hagemann in 1955 at Pampa. He was in the military and they lived many places around the world, returning to Pampa in 1978. He died in 1999. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She had been a Sunday school and training union teacher and was active in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Survivors include two sons, Carl Hagemann Sr. of Childress and James Hagemann of Pampa; a daughter, Mary Hagemann of Pampa; three grandsons; four step-grandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren. Proffitt, 92, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Westlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors. Mrs. Proffitt was born in Paris, Texas, and moved to Shamrock at age 10 and then to Borger in 1940. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Andy Revious; and by her second husband, Raymond Proffitt. Survivors include a stepson, Richard Proffitt of Waxahachie; and two stepgrandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Dec. 22, 2000 Kenneth Sims TULIA - Kenneth Sims, 70, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wallace Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Hill, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Sims was born in Vernon. He attended school in White Flatt and returned to Vernon in 1942. He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. In 1958 he moved from Vernon to Plainview, then to Tulia in 1962. He farmed for Ike Simpson in Tulia and was night watchman for the Cotton Compress in Tulia. He farmed for Jim Owens for 10 years and retired in 1987. Mr. Sims was a storm watcher / chaser for REACT. He was a Baptist. Survivors include four brothers, Leon Sims of Kingsland, Bobby Sims of Hale Center and Charles Sims and Richard Sims, both of Plainview; and three sisters, Wanda Richards of Vera, Marie McClary of Iowa Park and Sally Kelly of Frederick, Okla. She owned and operated Norma's Corner Cafe in Skellytown for more than eight years and was active in the Opportunity Center. She was a homemaker and member of First Church of the Nazarene in Borger. She also was a member of F.L.E.A.S. in Eufaula, Okla., and the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. She married Jack Hutchinson in 1947 at Borger. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Hutchinson, in 1948. Mrs. Thomas was born in Oklahoma. She grew up in Pampa and attended schools in Pampa and Kress, where she graduated from high school. She married C.W. Rousser in 1940. They farmed west of Kress. In 1965 she moved to Plainview. She married Thurmon Thomas in 1970. He died in 1995. Mrs. Thomas was a member of First Baptist Church, Louise Harper's Sunday school class, the Order of the Eastern Star, Plainview County Club Ladies Golf Association and the Plainview Duplicate Bridge Club. Survivors include a daughter, Terri Fargason of Frisco; a son, Wes Rousser of Riverside, Calif.; a sister, Evelyn Anselevicius of Albuquerque, N.M.; two stepdaughters, Jeanie Buchanan of Plainview and Marsha Thompson of Copper Canyon; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was the city of Canyon library assistant from 1976 to 1990. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Tuttle Church of Christ. Burial was at 3:30 p.m. in Fairfax Cemetery of Fairfax by Sevier Funeral Home. Mrs. Keeth was born in Oklahoma City. She attended school in Tuttle and graduated from high school in Ralston, Okla. She worked as a riveter during World War II. In 1965 she moved from Wichita, Kan. to Tuttle. She was a member of Tuttle Church of Christ. She married Elbert Keeth in 1947 at Shidler. He died in 1997. Survivors include two sons, Lyndon Keeth of Arlington, Texas and Bernard Keeth of Norman; a daughter, Janie Klein of Amarillo; two brothers, Troy Chitwood of Enterprise and Barton Chitwood of Perry; three sisters, Juanita Cheney and Kathy Savage, both of Tulsa and Berniece Riley of Waynsboro, Tenn.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Herrin was born in Stephenville. She attended school in Stephenville and Tahoka. In 1927 she moved to Tahoka. She retired from Lyntegar Electric Co-op and was a charter member of Sweet Street Baptist Church. She married Grady Loyn Herrin in 1943 at Post. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sandra Bryan of Amarillo and Kam Harvick of Borger; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
