Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Polk Street United Methodist Church Chapel with Dr. Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery East by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Hill was born in Gypsum, Kan. She was a member and Sunday school corresponding secretary of Polk Street United Methodist Church. She was active in Amarillo Senior Citizens Association and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She married Leo Charles Hill in 1921 at Alhambra, Calif. He died in 1972. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Hill, in 1967. Survivors include a son, Raymond Lloyd Hill of Antioch, Calif. The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers be to Polk Street United Methodist Church, Amarillo Mission, 1401 S. Polk St., Amarillo, TX 79101; or a favorite charity. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 22, 2000 Procopio Salas Procopio Salas, 37, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Laurence Cathedral by the Rev. Rosendo Herrera. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Salas was born in Amarillo and was a lifetime resident. He was a supervisor for Lone Star Construction. He was a member of St. Laurence Cathedral. He married Josette Ochoa in 1981 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Maria Salas, Kimberly Salas, Victoria Salas and Destiny Salas; a son, Procopio Salas Jr.; his mother, Frances Salas of Amarillo; seven brothers, Joe Delfino Salas Jr., Joe Leon Salas, Henry Salas, Paul Salas, Manuel Salas, Ruben Salas and Raymond Salas, all of Amarillo; and a sister, Ruby Granado of Amarillo. The family will be at 4240 W. 15th Ave. Amarillo Daily News, Nov. 22, 2000 Debby Kelley Debby Kelley, 47, of Amarillo, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, in Lubbock. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation by Chapel of Angels Funeral Home of Lubbock. Mrs. Kelley was born in Amarillo. She graduated from Canyon High School in 1971. She was a homemaker. She married Melvin Kelley in 1978 at Clovis, N.M. He was a foreman from 1959 to 1973 on ranches in New Mexico. He moved to Amarillo from Lovington, N.M. in 1978. He was Catholic. He married Maria Martinez in 1950 at Artesia, N.M. Survivors include his wife; a son, Manuel Rodriquez of Lovington; two daughters, Aurora Kinkead and Oralia Alvarado, both of Amarillo; three brothers, Lafiro Rodriquez, Hipolito Rodriquez and Gonzalo Rodriquez, all of Sabinas Hidalgo; and four sisters, Ellia R. Contreras, Consuelo Castro, Oralia R. Silva and Catarina Espinosa, all of Monterrey, Mexico; six grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, in First United Methodist Church of Roswell with the Rev. Steve Chappell of the church and the Rev. Wayne Griffin of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in South Park Cemetery by La Grone Funeral Chapel. Mr. Ferris was born in Muskogee, Okla., and had lived in Roswell the past three years. He had been a highway patrolman for the Texas Department of Public Safety and later worked as a pipe line specialist at Ultramar Diamond Shamrock. He married Pam Beck Hunt in 1982 at Dumas. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Aaron Moore of Abilene, Texas, Zack Ferris of Garden City, Kan., and Lance Ferris of the home; and his parents, Earl and Mary Zumwalt Ferris of Dumas. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1968 and won a National Merit Scholarship. She earned a bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth in 1972. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service. Survivors include a brother, Michael Horgan of Claremont, Calif.; a sister, Kate (Kathy) Horgan; and a brother, Patrick Horgan of Ione, Calif. Minnie was born in Morrilton County, Ark. She moved to Canadian from Amarillo in 1999. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Council and had been a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God. She married Gregorio Ortega in August at Canadian. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jessie Eldon Thomas of Amarillo and Davey Lynn Thomas of Lockney; a daughter, Debra Diana Graham of Canadian; a stepson, Calvin James Ortega of Higgins; a brother, Buddy Deal of Grand Saline; three sisters, Mary Rogers of Granbury, Esther "Bessie" Gregory of Mississippi and Tiny Pond of Troup; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Morrison was born in Sulphur Springs and had been a longtime resident of the Borger area. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include four daughters, Sandra Hilbert of Borger, Judy Strickland and Margy Hodges, both of Amarillo and Lana Dawson of Dumas; two half-brothers, Dub Waldrep of Amarillo and Paul Waldrep of Rogers, Ark.; a sister, Ruth Griffin of Dallas; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Earnhart was born in Henderson, Ark., and had lived in Borger the past 65 years. She was a homemaker and member of the Home Demonstration Club. She was a Red Cross volunteer at Golden Plains Community Hospital and a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. She was a Methodist. She married Lester Earnhart in 1943 at Borger. She was preceded in death by a son, Lester Eugene "Skipper" Earnhart, in 1985. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jerry Earnhart and Jimmie Earnhart, both of Borger; five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
