Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Teltow was born in Branscomb, Calif., and had lived in Amarillo for 24 years. He worked as a truck driver for Affiliated Foods. He married Vickey Schaus in 1970 at Belton. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Teltow, in 1974. She worked in the dietary departments of Memorial Hospital at Elk City, Okla., and at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital of Sulphur, Okla. She married Chet Simpson in 1920. He died in 1935. She married William M. Rutledge in 1938. He died in 1969. She also was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Simpson, in 1941; and by three daughters, Pauline Rippee, in 1986, Yvonne Grissom, in 1991, and Fern Peebles, in 1997. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. Mrs. Van Dyke was born in Oswego, Kan. In 1940, she received a a bachelor of arts degree from East Central Oklahoma University. After receiving a master's degree from Oklahoma State University in 1941, she worked for Amarillo Independent School District, teaching at Palo Duro High School and Amarillo High School, where she was head of the foreign language department. She retired in 1979. She volunteered as a docent at the Amarillo Art Center. In 1940, she married John R. Gibson. He died in 1973. In 1981, she married Richard E. Van Dyke. Survivors include her husband; a son, Jim Gibson of Victoria, British Colombia; a daughter, Jacque G. Riley of McAllen; and a brother, James R. Francisco of Las Cruces, N.M. Mrs. Ward was born in Washington Courthouse, Ohio, and had lived in Amarillo since 1975. She was past director of Lighthouse for the Blind and worked as a bookkeeper before her retirement. She was a Christian and foster parent. She married Clyde M. Ward in 1951 at Los Lunas, N.M. He worked for Southwestern Public Service, retiring in 1998 as a system dispatcher with System Control. A member of the National Rifle Association and the National MS Society, he attended Moreno Valley Church of Christ in Eagle Nest, N.M. He married Sandra Henderson Riley in 1983 at Amarillo. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Brooks Funeral Directors Chapel with Dr. Strauss Atkinson, pastor emeritus of First Baptist Church in Canyon, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Mrs. Conatser was born in Dalhart and graduated from Dalhart High School. She married Charles Conatser in 1925 at Dalhart, and they farmed in Dumas before homesteading near Cuba, N.M. They moved to Pringle in 1933. They moved to Canyon in 1936. She was a member of the Palo Duro Rusk Home Demonstration Club, serving as a state delegate to the Texas State Home Demonstration Association and was named Woman of the Year in 1966 and 1967. She helped found the Canyon Senior Citizens Organization and served as secretary of the board. She was a nominee for the Texas Panhandle Distinguished Service Award in 1977. As part of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, she worked with the Senior Citizen program and volunteered at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum. As a member of the First Baptist Church, she worked with the Sunday school program. She and her husband moved to Palo Duro Village Cooperative in 1984. Her husband died in 1989. Survivors include two daughters, Louise Russell of Canyon and Catherine Luster of Wildorado; two sons, Jack Conatser of Dallas and Charles Conatser of Lubbock; a brother, Joe Harry Roberts of Fort Worth; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandchild. Burial will be in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Lewalling was born in Wheatland and was a longtime Quay County resident. She was a member of the Quay County Democratic Ladies, the New Mexico Democratic Ladies and the St. Anne's Catholic Church and Altar Rosary Society. Her husband, Morris A. Lewalling, died in 1975. Mrs. Thomas was born in Bovina, Texas, and moved at an early age to the Forrest community. She married Horace J. Thomas in 1926 at Clovis, and they farmed and ranched in Forrest until moving to Tucumcari in 1960. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and the Girl's Auxiliary. Arrangements are by Morris Funeral Chapel. Mr. Romero was born in Pampa, Texas, and was a longtime resident of Amarillo and graduate of Amarillo High School. He attended Amarillo College and later Eastern Michigan University and Cleary College in Ypsilanti, Mich., majoring in English and economics. During World War II, he served with the Navy. He began working for the Veterans Administration Hospital of Amarillo in 1957. In 1964, he became personnel officer with the Bureau of Commercial Fisheries and in 1970 with the Northeast Regional Office, National Park Service, Department of Interior. After retiring from government service in 1981 as Director of Personnel in Idaho Falls, Idaho, he moved to Sebring and worked as a placement officer of HETA from 1986 until 1993. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 74, and St. Catherine Catholic Church, where he was an usher for many years. Survivors include his wife Paula; a daughter, Mary Hibbitts of Orlando, Fla.; a son, Darryl Johnson of South Lyon, Mich.; two grandchildren; and a greatgrandchild. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery at Amarillo by Hass Funeral Home. Mr. Breitling was born in White House and moved at an early age to Canyon. He graduated from Canyon High School and attended West Texas State Teachers College. He served in the Navy during World War II. Before moving to Dalhart in 1996, he lived in Amarillo and Canyon and served as executive director of the Potter County office of the Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service. He was active with the Tri-State Fair, Potter County 4-H, Canyon F.F.A. and Randall County Stock Show. In Dalhart, he was a member of Central United Methodist Church and volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Mr. Breitling married Buena Vista Walker in 1947 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; four sons, James Anthony Breitling of Groom, Douglas Breitling of Charleston, S.C., Mike Breitling of Dalhart and Randy Breitling of Shallowater; two sisters, Alene Morris of Susanville, Calif., and Shirley Phillips of Hobbs, N.M.; a brother, Herbert "H.E." Breitling of Amarillo; and eight grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the American Lung Association; Central United Methodist Church sanctuary enhancement project; or a favorite charity. The family will be at 1801 Denver. He worked for Azteca Milling Co. of Plainview. He was a member of the Sendero De La Cruz Pentecostal Church. He married Alicia Garcia in 1986 at Hart. She was a member of the Jesucristo El Buen Pastor, Spanish Assembly of God and was active in the Women's Ministry. She married Francisco "Frank" Saldana Sr. in 1938 at Kyle. He died in 1979. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Josephine Saldana, in 1943. Survivors include a son, Frank M. He was manager of the Paymaster Gin and the Mockingbird Gin before moving to Roswell, N.M., in 1956. He retired as general manager of Farmer's Incorporated in 1980. In 1962, he was named New Mexico ginner of the year. He served as President of New Mexico Gin Grover's Association and later, as President of National Cotton Ginner's Association. He was a delegate to the National Cotton Council. He was a member of the Advisory Committee of the Wichita Bank for Cooperatives and past president of the Grand Plains Lion's Club. He married Irene Ruth Vincent in 1938 at Red Lodge, Mont. After her death, he married Lema Hanks Majors in 1988 at Portales, N.M. His son, Harold Parks, also preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Parks of Covington, Ky.; three daughters, Billie Jo Studdard of Covington, Patricia Lewis of Anchorage, Alaska, and Joy Emerson of Roswell; a stepdaughter, Myrna Srenaski of Houston; a brother, Bill Parks of Billings, Mont.; a sister, Kitten Crow of Andrews; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
