Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park. Mrs. Callaway was born in Quanah and was a lifetime resident. She graduated from Quanah High School. She was a home health aide for Texhoma Community Health Services Inc. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She married Gary Callaway in 1987 at Altus, Okla. Amarillo Daily News, Sept. 22, 2000 William Franklin Andrews TULIA - William Franklin Andrews, 83, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000. Memorial services were at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Plainview. Burial will be at 11 a.m. today in the Silverton Cemetery at Silverton by Myers-Long Funeral Directors in Silverton. Mr. Andrews was born in Mina, Nev. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a silversmith and panned for gold in the California mountains. He married June Ziegler in 1974 in Reno, Nev. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael J. Andrews. Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard Andrews of Santa Maria, Calif.; five stepchildren; a brother, Jim Andrews of Huntington Beach, Calif.; his stepmother, Billie Andrews; 33 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Vistacare Family Hospice in Plainview. L.B. Blake STRATFORD - L.B. Blake, 87, died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, in Dumas. Mr. Blake was born in Watson, Okla., and had lived in Sherman County since 1964. He was a farmer and a member of First Baptist Church. He married Gertrude Meil in 1933 at Lubbock. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Opal June Bell, in 1977. Survivors include his wife; two sons, L.G. Blake of Stratford and O.L. Elvis Pitts, retired Baptist minister of Amarillo, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery at Goldthwaite. Arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington. Mrs. Lock was born in Pontotoc. She graduated from Eldorado High School. She moved to Wellington in 1995 from San Saba County, where she had been a longtime resident. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Wellington and was active in the Women's Missionary Union. She married the Rev. Richard Lock in 1935 at San Angelo. He died in 1987. She also was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Barbara June Lock. Survivors include a son, Tom Lock of Sonora; two daughters, Judy Brister of Wellington and Martha Hooten of San Angelo; a brother, Dean Burk of Goldthwaite; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Clinton Young and the Rev. John Spangler officiating. Arrangements are by Price-Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Hines was born and raised in Quanah. She graduated from Quanah High School in 1967 and earned her bachelor's degree in business education at Sam Houston State University in 1971. In 1977 she began working as a secretary and later as a sales counselor for Fox & Jacobs Homes. She was a sales professional for 22 years at Centex. She received awards for sales and customer satisfaction, including Neighborhood Team of the Year in 1999, Top Gun of the Year in 1991, and the McSam Award for sales person of the year in 1994. She served on the board of directors of the Home Builders Association of Greater Dallas. She was a member and past chairman of the Sales and Marketing Council, earned the MIRM designation in 1995 and led the local SMC in becoming national SMC of the Year in 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Siekert. Survivors include her mother, Jo Ann Hines; two brothers, John Paul Hines and Jay Brad Hines; and a sister, Kelly Ann McGuire. He married Verginia Riley in 1971 at Winnemucca, Nev. She was involved in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America Altar Guild and the Booker Home Demonstration Club. She married Elmer Stabel in 1952 at Las Vegas. Mr. Meier was born in Kingfisher County, Okla. He moved to Amarillo in 1952 after serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II and became a longtime resident. He was a carpenter and longtime member of Carpenter's Local No. 665, where he also served as trustee. He provided his carpentry skills to area churches, including Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church where he was a member. He married Neva Little in 1947 at Kingfisher, Okla. She died in 1999. Survivors include a daughter, Jane Elizabeth Meier of Austin; a son, James Leonard Meier of Metuchen, N.J.; and a brother, Ted Meier of Kingfisher. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Lana Gayle Flanagan. He died in 1977. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with Derek Cox officiating. Burial will be in Boise City Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary. Mr. Hart was born in Wanette and raise in Boise City. He graduated from Boise City High School in 1931, where he played football. He went to the Civilian Conservation Corp camp near Chandler, Okla. Upon his return to Boise City he became self-employed and later worked for the Consumer's Elevator from 1951 to 1979. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a volunteer fireman for the Boise City Fire Department, retiring in 1961. He married Lucile Patterson in 1941 at Guymon, Okla. Survivors include his wife; a son, Buck Hart of Boise City; three daughters, Paula Jean White and Catherine Sue Edgington, both of Boise City and Celia Carrol Johnson of Roswell; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lautz was born in Southmayd. She was secretary at Polk Street United Methodist Church. She was active in YWCA, Girl Scouts, United Way, U.S.O. A.F.S. and the P.E.O. sisterhood Chapter AJ. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church. In 1959 she was named Topeka Woman of the Year. She married Philip Ott Lautz in 1936 at Amarillo. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Henry W. Lautz of Dunwoody, Ga.; a daughter, Phyllis Lautz Biddle of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Dick Williams of Metairie, La.; and a granddaughter. Mr. Youngblood was born in Fort Worth and graduated from Texas A&M. He served in the Air Force.
