She graduated from Pampa High School in 1975 and attended Amarillo College and the University of Arizona. She was a member of First Christian Church. Survivors include her mother, Willie Houser of Pampa; her father, Jack Imel of Pampa; her stepfather, Jean Houser of Canadian; a sister, Michelle Smith of Amarillo; and a stepbrother, Donnie Houser of Canadian. Mrs. Hale was born in Elgin, Kan., and lived in Borger 26 years. She worked for Borger Chamber of Commerce. She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Dewey, Okla. She married Charles R. Hale in 1947 at Dewey. Survivors include her husband; a son, Richard Charles Hale of Amarillo; two daughters, Carla Raye Smith of Amarillo and Barbara Beatrice "B.B." Brick of Chicago; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Nowlin was born in Montague County and had been a resident of Dumas since 1980. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Buster White in 1975 and Jack Nowlin in 1979; two daughters, Dorothy Gilliam in 1995 and Christine Lofberg in 1999; and a son, D.J. White on May 21. Mrs. Golden was born in Floydada and moved to Amarillo in 1923. She was a homemaker and a charter member and longtime Sunday school teacher at Valleyview Church of the Nazarene. She married Newell Golden in 1923. He died in 1999. She also was preceded in death by a son, Lt. Col. Elden Wayne Golden, in 1968. Survivors include a sister, Elvina Short of Amarillo; a brother, R.T. Furrow of Lubbock; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Litherland was born in West Salem, Ill. She moved from Albuquerque, N.M. to Amarillo in 1964. She worked as a secretary at military bases for 20 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church. She married Glen Litherland in 1942 in Missouri. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Sabra Litherland of Arnold, Md., Pamela Barrientez of Amarillo and Tammy Porter of Berlin, N.J.; a son, Glen Litherland Jr. of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and one great grandson. Georgia St. Mr. Shelton was born in Breckenridge. During World War II he served in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of Lake Tanglewood Golf Association and the Lake Tanglewood Community Church. He married Evelyn Griffin in 1946 at Wheeler County. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sharon Scroggs of Dumas and Jimmie Lamb of Aurora, Colo.; a son, Robbie A. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Seastrunk was born in Tyler. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where she was Phi Beta Kappa. In 1940 she moved from Albuquerque, N.M. to Temple and after retirement in 1969 to Amarillo. She later lived in New Orleans, Duncanville and Austin. She was a member of the Federation of Women's Clubs, PTA and the Temple school board. She married J.W. Seastrunk in 1932 in Los Angeles. He died in 1984. Survivors include a son, Dr. Jay W. Seastrunk II of Atascadero, Calif.; a daughter, Geraldine Kidwell of Austin; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Gandy was born in Memphis and lived in Amarillo since 1948. She was a homemaker and retired cafeteria manager for the Amarillo Independent School District. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Brown, in 1966 and her second husband, Bob Gandy, in 1995. She also was preceded in death by a son, Russell Lance Brown, in 1977. Survivors include three children, Rebecca Adams of Austin, Robbie Brown of De Kalb, and Dickie Bruce Gandy of Amarillo; two sisters, Winnie Purcer and Lucille Day, both of Amarillo; two brothers, Tony Oakley of Grants Pass, Ore., and Monte Oakley of Denton; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was born Clearview, Okla. He graduated from Clearview High School and attended barber school in Tyler, Texas. In 1953 he moved to Clovis, where he owned Deluxe Barber Shop from 1953-76. He also worked at the Cannon Air Force Base Barber Shop. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church and American Legion Post No. 117. He married Rubye Hartley in 1958 at Portales. He was preceded in death by two sons, Willie Johnson and Albert Bernell Johnson. Mrs. Burnett was born in Bellview and was a lifetime resident of Broadview. She was a homemaker and worked for the National Agriculture Statistical Service. She was past president of the New Mexico Home Extension Club, secretary of the Senior Citizens Center in Rosedale, past secretary of the Y-Squares Square Dance Club in Clovis and a member and pianist at First United Methodist Church in Grady. She married Ralph Burnett in 1941 at Clovis. Survivors include her husband; a son, J.R. Burnett of Broadview; a brother, Leonard Mitchell of Bellview; a sister, Myrtle Breuning of Las Vegas, N.M.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She moved with her family to Hooker and attended school there from 1960-65. She graduated from high school in Dodge City, Kan. She returned to Hooker after her marriage in 1983 to Donald McCann. She was a member of Victory Center and had been a Sunday school helper. Mr. Whitaker was born in Canyon, Texas. He graduated from high school in Strasburg, Colo., in 1986. He farmed in the Amarillo area and worked as a feedlot cowboy in Hugoton, Okla. In 1996 he moved to Liberal, where he worked for Elkhorn Construction and Harvey & Sons Electric. He had worked in Port Arthur since January as an electrician for W-Industries of Houston. He married Barbara Lynn Short in 1997 at Liberal.
