Mrs. March lived in Clarendon as a young child. She moved to Amarillo with her family and attended public schools. While in her teens she was a member of Galilee Church of God in Christ. She worked at Burger King. Survivors include her husband, Johnny March; two daughters, Kirby March and Deaundes March of Amarillo; two sons, Johnathan March and Brandon March of Amarillo; five brothers, Ellis L. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Dawn Baptist Church, between Canyon and Hereford, with the Rev. Charles Davenport officiating. Mr. Wimberley was born near Voss. In 1919 he moved to Canyon, and in 1925 moved to Dawn. He helped establish, and served as a deacon, at Dawn Baptist Church. He served on the Tierra Blanca Soil Conservation board. He married Ruby Smith in 1932, and they lived and farmed in Dawn. He was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter. Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Ann Newell; a son, Ted Wimberley; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be to Dr. David Miller Scholarship for pre-medical studies at West Texas A&M University Foundation, WTAMU Box 766, Canyon, TX, 79016-0001. Georgia St. Mr. Burke was born in Savanna, Okla. He owned H.C. Burke Insurance Agency. He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was deacon and past director of the Singles Sunday school class. He was on the board of directors for Big Brothers-Big Sisters, and was past president of Life Underwriter's Association and the South Amarillo Kiwanis Club, where he was co-founder of the Golden K Kiwanians. He was in Who's Who of American Businessmen, and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He married Juanita Meredith in 1946 at Floydada. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cherry Patterson of Modesto, Calif.; a son, Ronald E. Burke of Sugarland; a sister, Geneva Stansell of Floydada; and seven grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Casey. Burial will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Mr. Ritter was born in Guymon. He graduated from Goodwell High School in 1938 and attended Panhandle A&M College. He served in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific Theater during World War II. He worked at Michigan Wisconsin Pipeline as a warehouse clerk. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Elks Lodge. He married Filomena Kay Chiusano Hill in 1964 in Liberal, Kan. He was preceded in death by a brother, Warren Ritter. Survivors include his wife; a son, K. Wayne Hill of Guymon; two brothers, Jerry Ritter of Pryor, Okla., and Russell Ritter of Sacramento, Calif.; and three sisters, Arlene Rowden of Guymon, Millie Burchfield of Hayward, Calif., and Juanita Hill of Perryton; and three grandchildren. Mr. Elston was born in Harper County. After farming and ranching in the Beaver County area, he retired and moved to Beaver in 1992. He was an armed security guard with Pantex and a Catholic. Survivors include two daughters, Pam Hameka of Bacliff and Debbie Savage of Oklahoma; three sisters, Elaine Dubin of California, Mary Smalley of Oregon and Patsy Riddle of Texas; two brothers, Eddie Claiborne of Arizona and Billy Claiborne of California; and four grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Angelo Bible Church. Arrangements are by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mr. Archambeau was born in Amarillo. After receiving a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University and a degree in law from the University of Denver, he practiced as a patent counsel for Schlumberger, Ltd., in Houston. Mr. Archambeau worked for Phillips Petroleum Co., in Borger and Bartlesville, Okla., and later for Continental Products in Odessa. In 1956, he moved to Denver, where he worked for Sterns and Rogers Engineering Co. Before moving to Houston in 1963, he worked for the U.S. Patent office in Washington D.C. He married Marilyn Roush in 1950 at Manito, Ill. As a member of Spring Branch Community Church in the early 1970s, he served on the Missions Committee and as a deacon. In 1978, he and his wife began working as missionaries for CAM International in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Mexico. In 1991, he moved to San Angelo, where he was associated with the Angelo Bible Church, Southland Baptist Church, and Glen Meadows Baptist Church. He was a mentor and served on the boards for Habitat for Humanity and the Downtown Rotary Club. He served with the Army Signal Corps and during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry Archambeau of Irving; a daughter, Arla Campbell of Anaheim, Calif.; and three grandchildren. Amarillo Sunday News-Globe June 25, 2000 Area James C. He retired from the oil field business. He was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship. He married Nancy Adams in 1954 at Bristow, Okla. Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday in Lemons Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Ron Cockroft, chaplain at Covenant Medical Center Hospital of Lubbock, and the Rev. Albert Lee Banks, associate pastor of Grace Community Church of Amarillo, officiating. Burial was in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Klokholm was born in New York City and grew up in New Jersey. He served in the Korean War. He was a master machinist. In 1978 he moved to Plainview. He worked for the Tye Co. in Lockney and was instrumental in developing the equipment to plant old world grass. He attended Wayland Baptist University and graduated from West Texas State University with a registered nurse degree. In 1992 he served as director of nurses at Lubbock State School and was director of nurses for the Plainview / Hale County Health Department. He was night director of nurses at local nursing homes. He was an ordained Methodist minister and ministered to the indigent through Mercy Ministries at Hale and surrounding counties. He was involved with the food bank in Lubbock and was a Mason. He married Charlotte Snow in 1950 at New York. She died in 1983. He also was preceded in death by his second wife, Eddie Ray Whitner, in 1987. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Jordan of Aztec, N.M.; two stepdaughters, Ronda Denman of Plainview and Esther Evonne House of Amarillo; two stepsons, Albert Lee Banks of Amarillo and Paul Peterson of Walton, N.Y.; a brother, Erik Klokholm of Burnswick, Maine; a sister, Lisa Klokholm of Florida; two grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild. He was an auto mechanic and television repairman and a member of Central Church of Christ. He married Loretta Vernon in 1945 at Olton. Survivors include his wife; a son, Alvin Ellerd of Amarillo; two daughters, Cynthia Campbell of Amarillo and Kathy Morris of Clovis; three sisters, Ruby Wright of Clovis, Olethia Joyce of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Marie Fisher of Salem, Ore.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. After receiving a football scholarship to Oklahoma State University, he received a Masters of Business Administration from Texas Christian University. During the Vietnam War, he served with the Air Force. He married Pearl Marie Thompson in 1957 at Stinnett. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Deana Marie Wright of Maypearl and Debra Ann Pugh of Abernathy; his father, Homer Williams of Panhandle; two brothers, Lewis Williams of Stinnett and Ronald Williams of Calgary, Alberta, Canada; a sister, Dana Lou Mericle of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home. Mrs. McCoy was born in Tyler and moved to Plainview in 1953. She kept the First Presbyterian Church nursery. She was a member of the Lamar school Parent Teacher Association, where she served as reporter, secretary, president and parliamentarian. A member of Plainview Seventh-day Adventist Church, she served as Sabbath school superintendent and was a teacher, deacon and church treasurer. She married William Clyde McCoy Sr. in 1938 at Tyler. He died in 1972. Survivors include a daughter, Susan Hristov of Lancaster; two sons, Jonathan McCoy of Mineral Wells and Clyde McCoy Jr. of Plainview; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Parrish was born in Port, Okla., and graduated from high school in Carter, Okla. In 1936, she moved to Shamrock, where she worked for Dunlap and Hunter's Department Stores and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was the bookkeeper for Parrish Brothers Welding. She married Sterlin Parrish in 1936 at Sayre, Okla. Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Carol Sloss and Ann Brashears, both of Shamrock, Vickie Holmes of Lubbock, and Jan Carpenter of Wichita Falls; and five grandchildren. Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home. Mr. DeLeon was born in Plainview and graduated from Hale Center High School in 1974. In 1978, he moved to Plainview, where he was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and worked for Daffern Steel & Supply Co. He was a member of the L.U.L.A.C. Organization and the Smack Down softball team. He married Carmen Rodriguez in 2000 at Plainview.
