She was a homemaker and had worked as a milliner. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She married James W. Sinclair in 1970 at Reno, Nev. He died in 1994. Mrs. Stegall was a resident of Fritch for 10 years before moving to Amarillo four years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Church. She married Richard Thomas "Dick" Stegall in 1949 at Stephenville. He died in 1993. Amarillo Daily News, April 25, 2000 New Mexico Charles Richard Holland CLAYTON, N.M. - Charles Richard Holland, 78, died Sunday, April 23, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors. Mr. Holland was born in Murray, Ky. He entered the Army Air Corps in 1942 and retired in 1972. He graduated from Panhandle State University in 1977 and taught Industrial Arts at Hugoton, Kan.; Clayton; and Felt, Okla. from 1978 to 1985. Mr. Holland was a member and past Senior Warden and Tiler of the Clayton Masonic Lodge No. 45 AF&AM. He was past Worthy Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member and past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was National Aide de camp in 1976. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the American Legion and the First Baptist Church. He married Mildred Elizabeth Winchester in 1942 at Charleston, Mo. He was preceded in death by a son, Russell J. Holland, in 1969. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert Holland and Don Holland, both of Clayton; a brother, Don Holland of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; a sister, Dorothy Luizzo of Sumter, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Dickinson was born in Milano, Texas and moved to the Curry County area in 1932. He was a bottler for Coca Cola in Tucumcari and Clovis. He was past president of the New Mexico Young Democrats and past president of the New Mexico State Bottlers Association. He was a member of the Clovis NoonDay Lions and chairman of the Tucumcari Jubilee. He was a New Mexico State Legislator for eight years and promoted House Bill No. 226 authorizing Ute Dam. He was a member of the Clovis and Portales Elks Lodge and the Clovis and Tucumcari Mounted Patrol. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church. He married Donna Campbell in 1939 at Clovis. He was preceded in death by a son, Rick Dickinson, in 1989. Survivors include his wife; a son, Rod Dickinson of Clovis; two brothers, Clyde Dickinson of Tucumcari and Curtis Dickinson of Lewisville, Texas; two sisters, Joyce Joe Harlan of Boerne, Texas and Aleane West of Hereford, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mr. Bennett was born in Randolph County, Ark. He moved to Guymon in 1925 from Wellington, Texas. He was an automobile mechanic and retired from the Ford dealership in the late 1970s. He married Laura Ruth Love in 1932 at Guymon. He was a past member of First Presbyterian Church in Amarillo, the Optimist Club, Amarillo Country Club and the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Wynefred Warren Tate; a son, Michael Tate of Houston; a daughter, Chrissy Harrison Tate of Houston; and two granddaughters. Mrs. Sanders was born in Quanah. She lived in Quanah many years before moving to Fort Worth in 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of the Poly United Methodist Church in Fort Worth. She married Calvin C. Sanders in 1942 at Altus, Okla. He died in 1983. Survivors include a son, Dale Lanier of Fort Worth; and two granddaughters. Ms. D'Spain was born in Texas and lived in Albuquerque, N.M. for 50 years. She worked on a military base in Texas during World War II. She owned a gift shop in a Hilton Hotel, worked for Shoe Make-up and sold stocks and bonds. She was a member of the Pilot Club, a charter member of the four Hills Country Clubs and played duplicate bridge. She had served as deacon in First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. He farmed from 1938 until he entered the grocery business. He owned City Grocery at Wellington and retired in 1978. He was a past member of the Wellington Kiwanis Club and a member of the First Baptist Church. He married Bernice Escoe in 1940 at Hollis, Okla. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy Thompson, in 1986. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sherry Ammons of Dumas; two sons, Bill McDanel of Gainesville and Benny McDanel of Wellington; three brothers, M.F. McDanel of Covina, Calif., J.D. He moved to Stratford in 1973 from Colorado Springs. He was an engineer in the 454th company in World War II. He was a grain truck driver and a member of Dumas Lodge No. 1009 AF&AM and First United Methodist. He married Lorretta Chamberlain in 1941 at Iuka, Kan. Survivors include a daughter, Lela M. Reynolds of Grove, Okla.; three sons, Roy E. Chamberlain Jr. of Stratford, Charles L. Chamberlain of Stratford and Leland M. Mrs. Inman was born in White Deer and reared in Wildorado. She graduated from high school in 1932. She married Fred A. Inman in 1938 at Lubbock and they farmed together at Hereford for 34 years. She moved to Claude in 1972. She was a nurse for 17 years and a private care-giver in Groom, Panhandle, Pampa, and Claude before retiring at age 78. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hereford. Survivors include three daughters, Dora Ruth Gilley of Azle, and Freda Jean Daughtery and Margaret Gilmore, both of Broken Bow, Okla.; a son, Dwight Chester Inman of Odessa; two sisters, Mary Cade of Post and Louella Hayes of Amarillo; a brother, Charles Milhoan of Monroe, La.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren.
