Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Body of Christ at Amarillo South with Brad Small, of the church, officiating. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. He was an organ donor and his body was donated to Texas Tech Medical School. Mr. McLaughlin was born in Durand, Mich. He moved from Bancroft, Mich., to Amarillo in 1958. He worked as a ship's cook in the Navy during World War II. He worked for Simplicity Engineering in Durand and as a service and installation technician for shakeout screens in coal mining and gravel pits. In 1986, he retired as a pipe-fitter at the Pantex Plant. He was a member of the Pipe-Fitters Union No. 196. He was a Baptist. He married Catherine Fay in Newport, R.I. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Beth Turner of Amarillo; four sons, Ken McLaughlin, Gerald McLaughlin and Chuck McLaughlin, all of Amarillo and Dennis McLaughlin of Micanopy, Fla.; two sisters, Gale Tribley of Durand and Rachel Hoeft of Saline, Mich.; a brother, Fred McLaughlin of Byron, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors in Pampa. Mr. Sealey was born in Govalle, and grew up at the Masonic Home and School in Fort Worth. He moved to Canyon 12 years ago. He attended Weatherford College and Texas A&I. During World War II, he served with the Army in the European Theater, where he was attached to the Allied Force Headquarters in London. He moved to Pampa and worked for Southwestern Public Service Co. He was an independent marketing and sales agent in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles. Mr. Sealey was a member of the Jaycees, Lions Club and Pampa Chamber of Commerce. He also had served on the Top O' Texas Rodeo Association board. He was a 50-year York Rite Mason and was a Master of the Pampa Chapter, T.I.M. of the Pampa Council and Commander of the Pampa Commandery. He was a member of the Shrine and the Khiva Temple in Amarillo. He married Fran Taylor in 1945 at Weatherford. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela, in 1979. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Paula Criss of Amarillo; two sisters, Agnes Hall of Houston and Niela Shelton of Haslet; a brother, C.D. She also was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Max Poe in 1995. Mr. Bell was born in Las Vegas, N.M., and was a longtime Clovis resident. He graduated from Clovis High School. He served in the Navy and retired as an electrician. She moved to Waxahachie from Lockney in 1997. She was an assistant manager for AutoZone and a Pentecostal. She married Ray Jimenez Jr. in the Lone Star Community in 1989. She was the school lunch room supervisor for the Springlake-Earth Schools. She married Edgar Earl Danforth in 1924 at Portales, N.M. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Burgess was born in Sparta, Tenn. She was raised in Hart Camp and attended school there. In 1949 she moved to Olton, and then to Plainview in 1968. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a volunteer in the Meals on Wheels program. She also was a member of the Knife & Fork Club and Pink Lady at Central Plains Hospital, where she received an award for her services. She married Robert Adron Burgess in 1932 at Littlefield. He died in 1976. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Hyman of Amarillo; a sister, Marie Dorrough of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Franklin was born in Sidney. He was a aircraft mechanic in Uvalde before he joined the Army Air Corps, serving during World War II at Guam. In 1952, he moved from May to Hale Center. She had worked at Faye's Lady Faire until 1999, when she retired. She was a member of the Trinity Fellowship Church and a partner of Trinity Broadcasting network. She married Bill King in 1947. He died in 1958.
