Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Body of Christ at Amarillo South with Larry Brown and Brad Small officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Bertrand Cemetery at Felt, Okla., with the Rev. Mark Urquhart, Mr. Reagan's son-in-law, officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Reagan was born in Salem, Ore. He graduated from Texline High School, where he ran track and set the school record for the fastest mile in 1961. He graduated from Panhandle State University. He was a former Scout Master and coached Kids, Inc. soccer, track and basketball. He was a member of the Chickasaw Tribe and Body of Christ at Amarillo South. Mr. Reagan married Elaine Kersey in 1965 at Felt. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cinda Urquhart of Arlington; two sons, Sam Reagan of Arlington and Jim Reagan of Austin; his mother, Vera Nuttall of Texline; a brother, Glenn Reagan of Texline; and four grandchildren. Everett, 89, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, April 25, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Roy Wheeler, pastor emeritus of Paramount Terrace Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Everett was born in Hollis, Okla. She moved to Amarillo from Dumas in 1980. She had operated Storybook Nursery in Dumas and was a member of the Pilot Club in Dumas. She was a leader in the Girl Scouts of America and a homemaker. She was a member of the Paramount Christian Church. She married William Murrell Everett in 1937 at Borger. He died in 1990. Survivors include two daughters, Pat Voyles and Jennifer Wells, both of Amarillo; two sons, John Richard Everett of Dallas and Rev. Billy Everett of Lamesa; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Amarillo Daily News, April 28, 2000 New Mexico James K. Byrd MOSQUERO, N.M. - James K. Byrd, 61, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000, in Amarillo. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Mosquero School Gymnasium with Charles Duree officiating. Burial will be in the Byrd Ranch Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home. Mr. Byrd was born in Princeton, Ky. and was a longtime resident of Mosquero. He was active in ranching and had worked with the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a farm service agent. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Survivors include his wife, Mary Byrd; a daughter, Catherine Klein of Carlsbad; two sons, James Edward Byrd of Aztec and Jefferson L. Byrd of Carlsbad; his parents, Floyd and Virginia Byrd of Carlsbad; a brother, C.L. Byrd of Logan; two sisters, Marguerite Cope and Datha Ward, both of Carlsbad; and six grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, April 28, 2000 Elsewhere Ernest Doggette CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Rev. Ernest Doggette, 66, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Vanderwall Funeral Home Chapel at Dayton with John Williams and Dr. Mark Hanby officiating. Burial will be in Rhea Memory Gardens of Dayton. The Rev. Doggette was born in Dialville, Texas. He graduated in 1951 from Amarillo High School at Amarillo. After graduating from Apostolic College in Tulsa, Okla., in 1954, he was ordained as a minister. He did home missionary work in North Dakota, South Dakota and New York state. He later worked as a missionary in Brazil. He pastored churches in New York state, Ohio and Texas. He was associate pastor at Bible Teaching Center in Chattanooga. In 1985, he earned a master's degree in theological studies from Logos Graduate School at Fort Worth, Texas. The Rev. Doggette married Ruth Hanby in 1955. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Timothy Doggette of Fort Worth, Steven Doggette of Ravena, N.Y., and Nathan Doggette and Mark Doggette, both of Chattanooga; a daughter, Juliann Rice of Chattanooga; a sister, Fae Hayes of Amarillo; and six grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, April 28, 2000 Sharon Lee Johnson SEDONA, Ariz. - Sharon Lee Johnson, 60, died Saturday, April 22, 2000. No services are planned. Cremation and arrangements are by Westcott Funeral Home of Cottonwood. Mrs. Johnson was born in Beaver, Okla. She attended business college in Amarillo, Texas. She married Russell Johnson of Amarillo. He preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by a son, Donald Johnson. Survivors include a daughter, Jo Lynne Hoy of Elk Grove, Calif.; and two sons, Terrell Johnson of Gridley, Calif., and Kelly Johnson of Sedona; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, April 28, 2000 Area Dorothy S. Teed PAMPA - Dorothy S. Teed, 95, formerly of Pampa, died Tuesday, April 25, 2000, in Salina, Kan. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Todd Dyess, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Teed was born in Topeka, Kan. She graduated in 1926 from Washburn University, where she was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. She lived in Pampa from 1929 to 1988, when she moved to Salina. While in Pampa, she was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Clara Hill Sunday school class. She served on the church administrative board and chaired the Council on Missions. Mrs. Teed was a member of the 20th Century Forum, was involved with the Community Concert Association and had directed volunteers for the hospital auxiliary. She was named Pampa Fine Arts Woman of the Year in 1950. She married Arthur M. Teed in 1929 at Topeka. He died in 1968. She also was preceded in death by a son, John Teed, in 1979. Survivors include two sons, Dan Teed of Lawton, Okla., and Jere Teed of Mount Prospect, Ill.; and five grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farley's Boy's Ranch and Affiliates, P.O. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elgie McIntire, in 1994; two sons, Billy Fred McIntire, in 1995, and James Edward McIntire in 1928; and a daughter, Betty Ann McIntire in 1938. Survivors include two sons, Jackie McIntire of Amarillo and Dale McIntire of Fritch; two daughters, Melba Tullos of Borger and Patsy Pierce of Amarillo; a sister, Minnie Murphy of McKinney; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Goad was a lifelong resident of Wheeler and a graduate of Wheeler High School. He had served in the Air Force. He retired from Cabot Corp. He was a rancher. Survivors include two sisters, Ada Dell Close of Hereford and Sarah Pond of Wheeler; and a brother, Jimmy Zack Goad of Albuquerque, N.M., nieces and nephews. Mr. Irlbeck was born in Happy and attended schools in Edmonds. He was a longtime resident of Tulia and a farmer. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. He married Edith Marie Lange in 1941 at Happy. He was preceded in death by two sons. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Judith Acker of Nazareth and Bernadette Cook of Panhandle; two sons, Albert Irlbeck of Tulia and Paul Louis Irlbeck of Happy; and 11 grandchildren. Graveside services are at 2 p.m. today in Carnegie Cemetery in Carnegie, Okla., with the Rev. Tommy McKibben officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors. Mr. Evans was born in Carnegie. He served in the Army during World War II. He had lived in the Shamrock area for 12 years and did custom combining. He was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Kerry Evans, in 1962. Survivors include four sons, Gary Evans of Choctaw, Okla., Curtis Evans of Midwest City, Okla., Butch Evans of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mike Evans of Shamrock; two brothers, Dean Evans of Lamesa and Leon Evans of Oklahoma City; a sister, Bea Coats of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; and a great grandchild. Amarillo Daily News, April 28, 2000 Alvin D. Fleming TULIA - Alvin D. Fleming, 82, died Thursday, April 27, 2000. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Davenport, pastor, and Jim Fergusson, president of the Texas Baptist Men, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home. Mr. Fleming was born in Coryell County and attended schools in White Hall. He served in the Army for four years and returned to Dallas and worked as a carpenter. He moved to Vigo Park and farmed, then retired and moved to Tulia. He was a lay preacher and active in the Texas Baptist Men and prison ministries. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He married Doris Jackson in 1945 at Gatesville. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Wanda Fleming and Deborah Bestal, both of Amarillo; a brother, Floyd Fleming of Gatesville; a sister, Florene Dorsey of Gatesville; and one grandchild.
