Mrs. Zajac was a longtime Amarillo resident. She was a truck driver for 16 years and worked for Plains Chevrolet. She was a member of River Road Fellowship Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Claud Tugwell officiating. Mr. Eckstein was born in Sleepy Eye, Minn. He retired from the Navy. In 1994 he moved from Hutchison, Kan. to Amarillo. He married Waneita in 1952 at Hutchison. She died in 1981. Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Oblinger of Amarillo; two sisters, Angie Eckstein and Emma Kontz, both of Minnesota; a brother, George Eckstein of Minnesota; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mr. Denny was born in Salem, N.J., and moved to Amarillo in 1971. She worked in the housekeeping department in hospitals. She was a member of Buchanan Street Baptist Church. She married Charles R. Denny in 1951 at New Jersey. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gretel Brooks, in 1989. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Robin Denny and Bernice Duckworth, both of Amarillo; two sons, David Denny and Derrix Denny, both of Amarillo; a sister, Barbara Wendt of Amarillo; 15 grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren. Mr. Williams was born in Baird. During World War II he was a sergeant and communications specialist for the Yalta Conference. He was a prisoner of war in Germany. In 1976 Mr. Williams retired as a carpenter. He was a member of San Jacinto Church of Christ. He had been an Amarillo resident 50 years. He married Audry M. Cathcart in 1946 at Kress. Survivors include his wife; a son, Charles Cathcart of Taos, N.M.; two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in First United Methodist Church Chapel with the Rev. Charles S. Bader of the church officiating. Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home. Mrs. Stagner was born in Alix, Ark. She moved to Clovis in 1921 and graduated from Clovis High School in 1931. She was a homemaker and a past owner of American Auto Salvage. She was a 50year member of First United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, United Methodist Women and Soroptimist Club. She married Johnny L. Stagner in 1933 at Fort Sumner. He preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Morris Stagner of Clovis, Johnny Stagner of Albuquerque and Don Stagner of El Paso; a sister, Ann Fox of Clovis; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-Times, Feb. 28, 2000 Jan West HOBBS, N.M. - Jan "Honey" West, 61, formerly of Clovis, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, in Lubbock, Texas. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Brown officiating. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis. Mrs. West was born in Fort Worth, Texas. She lived in various places while her husband served in the Air Force. After his retirement they settled in Clovis and joined the family business, Reiser Florist. In 1998 Mrs. West moved to Hobbs where she worked as a substitute teacher. She taught Precept classes for many years. She married Ron West in 1957. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sonia West of Roswell; a son, Kenny West of Arlington, Texas; two brothers, George Reiser Jr. and Phil Reiser, both of Clovis; a sister, Joella Kempf of Johnson City, Tenn.; and two grandchildren. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Read Barby officiating. Burial was in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mrs. Haylett was born in Wilson and attended Guymon schools. For several years she worked as a nurse's aide at Memorial Hospital. While living in Guymon she attended New Life Christian Center. She was a resident of Salina at the time of her death. Survivors include four children, Krystal Martin, Vincent Martin and Jennifer Knoles, all of Salina, and Cynthia Haylett of Russell, Kan.; two sisters, Shirley Walton of Guymon and Barbara Sommer of Bartow, Fla.; two brothers, Harilee Whitehead of Pampa, Texas, and Robert Martin of Texas; and four grandchildren. Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Saturday in Blakely Cemetery near Madison by Wilson Funeral Home in Madison. Mrs. Chadd was born in Kingfisher, Okla. In 1943 she moved to Madison from Teterville. She and her husband owned Chadds Super Service for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Royal Neighbors of America. She married Guy W. Chadd in 1926 at Iola. He died in 1973. Survivors include two daughters, Eula Lee Lackey of Amarillo and Farrell Williams of Madison; a sister, Jessie Manschreck of Topeka; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2:30 today in Doxey Cemetery in Sayre, Okla. Mr. Music was born in Elk City, Okla., and had lived in Pampa since 1969. He worked for Fish Engineering and Construction. He worked as a plumber for Malcolm Hinkle and Thompson Plumbing in Elk City. During World War II he served in the Navy. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He married Frankie Hysmith in 1965 at Wheeler. He was preceded in death by a son, James Leroy Music, and by a daughter, Vickie Lynn Goddard. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Ruth Ann Music of Kansas City, Mo., and Alice Marie Short and Tina Sue Hoskins, both of Pampa; three sons, Michael Warren Music of Kansas City, Gary Wayne Music of Anchorage, Alaska, and Jerry Lee Music of Pampa; three sisters, Sally Catherine Jones and Wanda Jean Sausman, both of Pampa, and Margaret Mae Hunt of Elk City; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in East Mound Cemetery of Matador with Michael G. Crowley, minister of Matador Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home of Matador. Mr. Hall was born in Davidson, Okla. Prior to 1976 he was a cowboy for the Matador Ranch, drove trucks and farmed. For 17 years he was employed by the Texas Fish and Wildlife Service in predatory animal control. He also was employed in Albuquerque, N.M., by Allstate Ready Mix. He was married to Elizabeth S. Alsup. His first marriage was in 1936 to Susie Meador who died in 1976. Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Jerry Alsup of Albuquerque; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be to East Mound Cemetery. Brad Reeves, pastor, and the Rev. Dean McNamara of Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home. Mrs. Harper was born in Weatherford. She lived in the Sudan area from 1931 until moving to Muleshoe in 1956. She was employed by Joe Salem Dry Goods Store in Sudan, Littlefield Dry Goods Store and Dunlap Dry Goods Store. She also taught piano in Sudan. She married Wiley Felton Harper in 1925 at Memphis. He died in 1987. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church in Booker with the Rev. Ray Adams and the Rev. Brent Farney officiating. Burial will be in Heart Cemetery by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker. Mrs. Weber was born in Elmwood, Okla., and graduated from Booker High School. She received her teaching degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University and taught school in Liberal. After her marriage she lived in several places as her husband served in the Army. Mrs. Weber and her husband returned to Beaver County where they engaged in farming. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Booker. In 1996 she moved to Dallas then to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in 1997. She married Leland Weber in 1943. He died in 1992. Mrs. Weber is survived by numerous cousins. She married Pedro Camarillo in 1955 at Littlefield. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Joe and John of Muleshoe and Jessie of Amarillo; a daughter, Lupe Ramos of Denver City; and four grandchildren. She was a homemaker and member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She married R.D. Benson in 1943 at Colorado Springs. He died in 1993. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Collie of Amarillo and Susan Harris of Rocksprings, Wyo.; three sisters, Mildred Gladin of Houston, Elizabeth Rock of Colorado Springs and Mary Campbell; a brother, Howard Dragosh of Boulder, Colo.; and two granddaughters. Daryle Perry of Elk City, Okla., officiating. Arrangements are by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors of Canadian. Mr. Otis was born in Wilsey, Kan., and attended a country school in Morris County, Kan. In 1946 he moved to Canadian where he was employed for 15 years by the Canadian Grain Co-op. In 1981 he retired after 20 years with the city of Canadian. Mr. Otis was a member of First Christian Church in Wilsey. He was a member of the Canadian Roping Club. He married Frances Shearer in 1935 at Cottonwood Falls, Kan. He was preceded in death by a son, Floyd Otis Jr., in 1981. In Farwell she was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church. She moved to Bryan in November. She married Ray E. Castleberry in 1935 at Clovis, N.M. She was preceded in death by a son, J.R. Castleberry, in 1989. Survivors include her husband; a son, Ron Castleberry of Lafayette, Ind.; a daughter, Linda Jo Whitson of College Station; a sister, Janie Weber of San Jose, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren.
