Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Brown was born in Siboney, Okla. She moved to Pampa in 1953, to Midland in 1975, and to San Antonio in 1981. She was a child-care provider in Pampa and Midland. She was a former member of the Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ in Pampa and the West Side Church of Christ in Midland. She was a member of the MacArthur Park Church of Christ in San Antonio. She married Norman Brown in 1926 at Heston, Okla. He died in 1971. She also was preceded in death by six children. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Zimmerer was born in Scotland, Texas. She attended schools in Gainesville before moving to Amarillo in 1934 to work for the Jeff Neely family. She married Leo Zimmerer in 1937. They farmed south of Bushland. She was a homemaker and was active in the Bushland school functions. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club and the 4-H Club. She received a first-place award for cooking at the Tri-State Fair. In 1957, they moved to Amarillo, where she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was in the Altar Society. They retired from farming in 1972. Her husband, Leo, died in 1996. Mrs. Zimmerer had been a member of the LaFeria Catholic Church and the Senior Citizens Association at Harlingen. Survivors include a son, Don Zimmerer of Hutchinson, Kan.; three daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Battles and Elaine Jenks, both of Amarillo and Virginia Zimmerer of Longboat Key, Fla.; two brothers, Bernard Devers and Joe Devers, both of Denton; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He graduated from Middleboro High School, where he set records in the pole vault. He graduated from Colorado Baptist College in Denver. He was an Air Force veteran and had qualified on the Air Force track team for Olympic tryouts in 1952. He received his license to minister in 1952 at Barksdale Baptist Church in Bossier City, La. He served as pastor at numerous churches, including Parsons Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio, and Arvada Baptist Church in Arvada, Colo., before coming to Amarillo in 1981. Rev. Norris was pastor at Grand Avenue Baptist Church and the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, Baptist Minister Alliance and the Amarillo Ministerial Alliance. He married Barbara Pruitt in 1952 at Roswell, N.M.
