Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Muleshoe Memorial Park at Muleshoe with the Curtis Shelburne, of Muleshoe, officiating. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mrs. Calvert was born in Arkansas. She had lived in Muleshoe since 1968 and moved to Farwell eight years ago. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. She married Delmer Leon Calvert in 1924 at Matador. He died in 1990. She also was preceded in death by a son, Johnie Calvert, in 1997. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Neva Calvert of Muleshoe; a sister, Mildred Rubish of Lancaster, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, Sept. 30, 2000 Lorrie Roberts PAMPA - Lorrie Roberts, 68, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2000. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with Leif Hasskarl, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Roberts was born in Detroit and moved to Pampa, where she became a longtime resident. She was a cook and waitress. She had worked at Heard-Jones Health Mart and The Black Gold. She was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, Billy W. Roberts; three sons, Dave Coultas of Canton, Mich., Tim Roberts of Pampa and Darrell Roberts of White Lake, Mich.; a sister, Shirley Monier of Punta Gorda, Fla.; a brother, Edward Schutt of Royal Oak, Mich.; and eight grandchildren. Gerber, 87, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 Bell St. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today in St. Mary's Catholic Church by Monsignor Francis Smyer. Mrs. Gerber was born in Chicago. She moved to Nazareth when she was 17. She moved to Amarillo in 1941. She married Matt J. Gerber in 1930 at Nazareth. He died in 1969. Survivors include a son, Joe Gerber of Austin; seven daughters, Marianne Harms, Rosie Heiselman, Dolores Jackson and Margaret Drummond, all of Amarillo, Gloria Arellano and Helen Rutland, both of Austin, and Barbara Jones of Temple; a sister, Florentine Franklin of Chicago; 26 grandchildren; 37 greatgrandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The family suggests memorials be to St. Mary's Catholic Church organ fund. Amarillo Daily News, Sept. 30, 2000 Fayme Ann Fowler Fayme Ann Fowler, 64, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St., with the Rev. Don Ralston officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Fowler was born in Childress and moved to Amarillo in 1944. She worked as a dietitian's aide at Family Hospital and Bivins Nursing Home, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Northside Full Gospel Church. She married Dolphus "Doc" Fowler in 1952 at Amarillo. She was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Ray Fowler, in 1998. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Rhonda Ann Hervey of Amarillo; two sons, Donnie Lee Fowler and Tommy Lynn Fowler of Amarillo; five sisters, Bernice Rushing of Iowa Park, Alene Bass of Locust Grove, Okla., and Mary Lou Charles, Irene Johnson and Oleta Boroughs, all of Amarillo; six brothers, Buford Hall of Wills Point, Woody Hall of Idalou, Finis Hall, Ray Hall and Jim Hall, all of Amarillo, and John Hall of Santa Fe, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Greg Wagoner, pastor of Bible Baptist Temple, and the Rev. Paul Bates, of Trinity Fellowship, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Michael was born in Amarillo and had lived here all his life. He was a student at Mesa Verde Elementary School and was a Baptist. Survivors include his mother, Lisa Holt of Amarillo; his father, Joe-Tom Holt of Amarillo; a sister, Angel Renee Holt of Amarillo; two brother, JohathonTerry Holt and Richard James Holt, both of Amarillo; and grandparents, Ronald and Gay Lyons of Amarillo and Brenda Holt of Fritch. Amarillo Daily News, Sept. 30, 2000 New Mexico Martha Lopez CLOVIS, N.M. - Martha Lopez, 46, formerly of Clovis, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000 in Sun City, Ariz. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Friday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today in the church by the Rev. Sotero Sena. Burial will be in Mission Garden of Memories by Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mrs. Lopez was born and raised in Clovis. She moved to Arizona three years ago. Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Lopez; a son, Gilbert Lorenzo Lopez of Albuquerque; a stepson, Martin Lopez of Las Cruces; a daughter, Minnie Hernandez of Surprise, Ariz.; three brothers, Michael Chavez of Clovis, Lorenzo Chavez of Grants and Johnny J. Chavez of Albuquerque; three sisters, Gloria Brinker and Ida Carver, both of Tucson, Ariz., and Joann Saiz of Glendale, Ariz.; and six grandchildren. The family will be at 400 West St. Amarillo Daily News, Sept. 30, 2000 Elsewhere Judith Annette Marshall DALLAS - Judith Annette "Ann" Marshall, 44, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2000. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Highland Oaks Church of Christ. Arrangements are by Family Funeral Care of Mesquite. Mrs. Marshall was born in Great Falls, Mont. She graduated from L.D. Bell High School of Hurst in 1974 and attended Texas Tech. In 1981, she earned a bachelor's degree in English. She moved from Lubbock in 1984 to Spring, where she taught English, French and English as a second language. She also did post graduate work at Sam Houston State University of Huntsville and was twice named Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Marshall attended Bammel Road Church of Christ while living in Houston and was a member of the Highland Oaks Church of Christ while in Dallas. She married Tony Marshall in 1976. Survivors include her husband; a son, Shad; a daughter, Adrienne; her parents, Jack and Jeannine Green; and a sister, Louise Daniels. The family suggests memorials in lieu of flowers be to Highland Oaks Caring and Sharing; Ellen Brooks West Memorial Library in Forney; or Baylor Institute of Immunology Research in care of Dr. Joseph Faye of Dallas.
