Memorial services will be later. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery at Harlingen by Mont Meta-Restlawn-Cox Funeral Home of Harlingen. Mrs. Heatherly was born in Shattuck, Okla. She graduated from Perryton High School in 1950 and joined the Air Force. She married Charles Heatherly in 1952 in Seattle and they moved to Amarillo in 1954. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees from West Texas State University in Canyon. She taught in Amarillo more than 25 years. She served six years as a licensed educational diagnostician for the Amarillo Independent School District. She retired in 1988 and moved to south Texas. Survivors include her husband; a son, Doug Heatherly of Amarillo; and a brother, James Piersall of Cloudcroft, N.M. She was a salesclerk for White & Kirk Department Store and for Fedway Department Store. She was a Baptist. She married Woodrow J. "Woody" Woodard in 1937 at Havana, Ark. He died in September. Mr. Messner was born in Darrouzett and had been a longtime resident of the Beaver County area. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He attended one year of college and two years of technical school. He worked for Enron. He married Susan Foster in 1978 at Darrouzett. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park in Dimmitt by Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel of Weatherford. Mrs. Ahlerich was born in Amherst. She lived in Weatherford before moving to Bedford. She retired from Lockheed. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Ahlerich was coach of a Little League team that won a state tournament in 1978 and advanced to southern region finals. She was former president of the Weatherford Little League. He married Helen Alexander in 1940 at Sand Springs, Okla. She died in 1988. He married Drama Roden in 1998 in Pampa. Mrs. Bechtold was born in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1940. She was a graduate of Lippert's Business College and was a bookkeeper for the old Plainview Hospital. During the war she worked for United Gas & Pipeline in Shreveport, La. She returned to Plainview and worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co., retiring in 1950. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, was involved in the National Youth Administration and was a Sunday school teacher. She was a past member of the PTA and the Plainview Band Boosters. She married Louis Fredric Bechtold Jr. in 1948 at Plainview. He died in 1994. Survivors include two sons, Charles Bechtold and Freddie Bechtold, both of Plainview; a brother, Robert F. She attended school in Plains and cosmetology school in Wichita, Kan. She was a farmer, a beautician and a member of the Church of Christ. She married Lloyd W. "Duke" Roberts in 1945 at Plains. He died in 1980. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Roberts, in 1980. Survivors include a son, Larry Roberts of Perryton; a daughter, Glenda Baxter of Spearman; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
