Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the First Christian Church with the Rev. Barry Loving, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery with graveside rites rendered by Pampa Masonic Lodge No. 966 AF&AM. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Laramore was born in Pike County, Ark., and had lived in Pampa since 1939, moving from Sunray. He worked for Skelly-Getty Oil Co., retiring in 1980 as a gas plant operator. A Navy veteran, he served in the Pacific, at Pearl Harbor, Ford Island and Johnston Island. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 1657, the Pampa Toastmasters, the Pampa Masonic Lodge No. 966 AF&AM, and the Pampa Senior Citizens. Mr. Laramore was a member of the founding board of Hospice of the Panhandle, volunteering for 13 years. He taught the AARP "55 Alive" mature driving course and was a board member of the Freedom Museum USA. He also was a member of First Christian Church, serving as elder, deacon and a board member. He married Phyllis Rosalee Followell Partin in 1946 at Clarendon. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Larry Partin of Argyle, J.D. Laramore of Allen, Douglas L. Laramore of Ada, Okla., and Victor W. Laramore of Pampa; a brother, Blake Laramore of Pampa; seven grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. The family suggest memorials be to BSA Hospice, 800 N. Amarillo Daily News, March 1, 2001 Robert Cosper PAMPA - Robert Cosper, 89, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2001. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors, Colonial Chapel, with Don Stone, minister of White Deer Church of Christ, and Bill Morrison, minister of Wheeler Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Cosper was born in Meridian. He worked for Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America, retiring in 1976. A former Fritch resident, he had been elder of the Fritch Church of Christ. In 1992, he moved to Pampa, where he was a member of Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ. He married Ruby Mae Dillard in 1933 at Memphis. She died in 1994. He married Drusilla Briscoe in 1997 at Wheeler. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Janette Cathey of White Deer and Patricia Forrester of Wheeler; a stepson, Elmer D. Amarillo Daily News, March 1, 2001 Annie Mae Heckman CLARENDON - Annie Mae Heckman, 100, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2001, in Claude. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Robertson Funeral Directors Chapel of Memories with June Douglas and Emmy Nelson, both of Borger, officiating. Burial will be in Citizens Cemetery. Mrs. Heckman was born in Wellington and had lived on the JA Ranch in Armstrong County before moving to Clarendon in 1929. She was a homemaker. She married George Edward Heckman in 1920 at Armstrong County. He died in 1956. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Leola Gilmore. Survivors include three sons, Ray Heckman of Claude, Lowell Heckman of Pampa and Cecil Heckman of Walsenburg, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; 35 greatgrandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. He was involved in farming, and had worked for Jerry London Farms for the past 33 years. He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church. He was married to Helen Castillo in 1961 at Dimmitt. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Henry Hernandez of Friona, Manuel Hernandez of Milner, Ga., and Conrado Perez Jr. of Florence, Colo.; four daughters, Sylvia Raymond of Fort Morgan, Colo., Terry Ojeda of Guymon, Okla., and Sally Aguirre and Rachel Prieto, both of Lubbock; three brothers, Rene Perez and Jose Perez Jr., both of Amarillo, and Samuel Perez of Friona; three sisters, Irma Raymond and Rosa Castillo, both of Friona, and Amelia Rodriguez of Hollis; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Palma was born in Arizona and had lived in Stratford since 1954. He was a farmer, a rancher, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He married Nicolasa in 1961 at Mexico. Clyde Fulfer, of First Assembly of God and the Rev. Dennis Boylan officiating. Burial will be in Cee Vee Cemetery at Cee Vee by Johnson Funeral Home of Childress. Mr. Seal was born in Carter, Okla. During World War II, he served in the Army. He received the Purple Heart and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He worked in the waterworks department for the city of Childress and as supervisor of the water treatment plant for the city of Silverton. He was a cowboy and a member of the First Assembly of God. Mr. Seal married Annie Bell Hill in 1952 at Childress. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mr. Roberson was born in Hereford and moved to Amarillo in 1942. He served in the Army during World War II. He retired from Texas State Technical Institute as a refrigeration specialist and teacher. He was a charter member and deacon of the Temple Baptist Church. He also was a member of the Kingswood class and Joy Club. Mr. Roberson married Mary Ellis Posey in 1937 at Hereford. She died in 1992. He married Johnnie Hall in 1993 at Amarillo. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sue Solomon of Irving; two stepsons, Don Hall of Amarillo and Danny Hall of Burleson; a sister, Imogene Pogue of Valley Mills; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. White was born in Erick and went to school in Delhi. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She married Lee D. White in 1950 at Erick. They operated a dairy and farmed in the Erick community. Her husband preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Roger White of Gainesville, Texas, Terry White of Erick and Gary White of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Dee Gunter and Ella Mae Burrell; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was a homemaker and had lived in Bell Gardens for three years. She had previously lived in Wyoming and Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dean Palmer, in 1950. Survivors include three sons, Bryan Johnny Palmer of Amarillo, Allen Ortega of Laurel, Mont., and Tony Ortega of Seattle; a daughter, Andrea A. Mrs. Warden was born in Hockley County and was raised in Morton. She graduated from Morton High School and in 1949 she graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree. She taught in Lubbock at Carol Thompson Junior High and later at schools in Hurst, Morton, Lamesa, Wolfforth and Dumas. She retired in 1987. She was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ. She married Jim Tom Warden in 1950 at Morton. He died in 1988. Survivors include five children, BeeGee Warden Hart of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Nancy Warden Wilkerson of Lubbock, Tom Warden of Houston, Ruth Ann Warden Grice of Dumas and Jimmie Jan Warden Wilbanks of Midland; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
