Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Elda Oliverez, of Dumas, and the Rev. Joe Martinez, of New Hope Nazarene Church, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mrs. Reyna was a seamstress. She was a member of the New Hope Nazarene Church of Hereford. Survivors include two sons, Alfred Reyna of White Deer and the Rev. Joe Martinez of Hereford; five daughters, Elda Oliverez, pastor, of Dumas, Dora Gonzales and Marie Marquez, both of Hereford, and Susie Adame and Cruz Rodriguez, both of Kenedy; a sister, Maria Garza of Beeville; 29 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Knowlton, 93, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Lamar Room of King's Manor with Carmen Flood, chaplain of King's Manor/Westgate, officiating. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. The Rev. Knowlton, a Methodist minister, had served in churches in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. He was a member of the Masonic Order and Scottish Rite. Survivors include a brother, John Hart of Rollo, N.D.; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 3, 2001 W.C. Deaton MATADOR - W.C. "Rosie" Deaton, 90, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, in Lubbock. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Roaring Springs Cemetery of Roaring Springs with Michael Crowley, minister of the Matador Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Valta; a son, Jack Williams of Matador; a daughter, Dorothy Lester of Matador; a brother, Wendell Deaton of San Marcos; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 3, 2001 Diana Lynn Wood CLAUDE - Diana Lynn Wood, 49, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church of Claude with the Rev. Jimmy McNeil, of Kissimmee, Fla., officiating. Burial will be in Claude Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home Armstrong Chapel. Mrs. Wood was born in Amarillo on Sept. 13, 1951. She married Bill Wood in Groom on April 26, 1969. She was a secretary at the Texas A&M Experiment Station in Bushland. She also worked at the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service office in Graham. She was the first female member of the Bryson Lions Club in their 50-year history. She also served as their first female president and was selected as the Lions regional president. While serving in the Lions club she ran countless blood drives. Mrs. Wood was a member of the First Baptist Church of Claude. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Bryan Wood and wife, Brandy, of Sunray and Ty Wood and wife, Patrice, of Canyon; her parents, Norman and Peggy Strange of Silverton; a brother, Bill Strange of Silverton; a sister, Kay Garrison of Possum Kingdom; a grandparent, Fern Holt of Silverton; and five grandchildren, Morgan, Bailey, Kinsey, Kylie and Koby. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Barker was born in Apache, Okla., and had been a resident of Amarillo since 1939. He was a retired electrician for A-1 Electric. Mr. Barker served with the Army in the 35th Division of the 25th Infantry in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He also was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union No. 602, Khiva Temple, Isom Masonic Lodge No. 1242, a charter member of the Lubbock Scottish Rite Bodies, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1475. He was preceded in death by a son, Bill Barker in 1991. Survivors include his wife, Anginetta May "Angie" Barker; four children, Johnnie O'Dell and Annette Cross, both of Amarillo, Debbie Dennis of Maud and Matt Sheets of Owasso, Okla.; two brothers, Sam Barker of Lawton, Okla., and Don Barker of Midwest City, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in St. Stephen United Methodist Church with Dr. Jim Smith, senior minister, officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Krehl was born in Sheboygan, Wis., and had lived in Amarillo for 43 years. She was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church and the Agape Sunday school class. She graduated from Lutheran Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago. She last worked as a registered nurse at St. Anthony Hospital where she retired in 1995 after 15 years. She was an active member of Widowed Persons Service where she received Volunteer of the Year Award in 1999. She married George Hollis Krehl on Oct. 19, 1957, at Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1996. Survivors include three daughters, Tina Atkins, Georjane Woodburn and Heather Brannon, all of Amarillo; a son, Jason Krehl of Amarillo; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Spinnato in 1961; and a son, Conrad Stigler in 1996. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 3, 2001 Oklahoma Flora James BOISE CITY, Okla. - Flora Mabry James, 92, died Monday, July 30, 2001, in Burlington, Colo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Stratford Cemetery of Stratford, Texas, with Aubrey Howell, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Cimarron Mortuary of Boise City. Mrs. James, the daughter of the late Milton R. and Leonnie (Campbell) Robinson, was born May 25, 1909, in Brownfield, Texas. She married Jesse William James Sr. on April 20, 1928, in Stratford. Survivors include a son, Jesse William James Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be to Caring Hands Hospice of Burlington, Colo.; or to a favorite charity. Memorials will be accepted at the funeral home.
