Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rob Lindley, pastor, the Rev. Ernie McGaughey and the Rev. Tommy Ewing, both retired Methodist ministers, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Fairview North Cemetery at Wellington by Wallace Funeral Home. Mr. Bush was born Aug. 9, 1927, in Amarillo. He grew up in Childress and graduated from Childress High School. He graduated from West Texas State University in Canyon with a bachelor's and a master's degree in education. He did some doctoral work at Texas Tech. He served in the Navy from 1945 to 1946. He married Peggie Yarbrough on June 6, 1954, in Wellington. He was a teacher, coach and administrator in Panhandle, Childress, Wellington, Hedley and the Region 16 Education Center in Amarillo. He moved to Tulia in 1974. He was the Director of the Special Education programs in Swisher and Brisco counties. He worked for West Texas A&M University and Texas Tech University as the Director of the Upward Bound Program for Special Education students. He worked for 10 years in Tulia as the Swisher County Adult Probation Officer. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Tulia where he taught the Arminta Sunday school class which was broadcast over KTUE Radio for 20 years. He served in many positions in the church including chairman of the Administrative Board. He was a Methodist Lay-Speaker and was active in the Methodist Men's Organization. He had been active in many teacher and civic organizations on the local, district and state level including the Lion's Club, Toastmasters and the Tulia Kiwani's Club. Survivors include his wife, Peggie Bush; two sons, Fred Bush of Dumas and John Bush of Bryan; a brother, Roy Bush of Austin; a sister, Virginia Sery of St. Louis; and a granddaughter, Liz Bush of Amarillo. The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church in Tulia or the American Diabetes Association. Mark Little, pastor of Grandview Assembly of God, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors of Shamrock. Rev. Little served as a Pentecostal Minister throughout the southwest part of Texas and had been a missionary in Mexico. He served in the Army during World War II. Mask in Dec. 23, 1933. She was a homemaker and a published author. She was a member of "Writers of The Golden Spread" and was a member of the Second Baptist Church for 59 years. She was known as "Neena" by her grandchildren and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 8, 1982. Mrs. Kraai graduated from West Texas State University with a bachelor's degree of science. She had lived in Canyon since 1973. She owned Pragmatic Productions, an arts and crafts business in which she sold her own creations. She also enjoyed breeding dogs and coaching youth sports teams such as basketball. She spent a couple years of her life caring for women with developmental disabilities in her home. Survivors include a son, Kevin Kraai of Athens; a daughter, Melisa Kraai of Denver; a brother, Bernie Kemple of Dallas; and a sister, Laurie May of Willis. Mrs. Morris, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2001, in Fort Worth, after a brief battle with cancer. Jeanie Alberta Moore was born on March 18, 1927, in Cimarron, N.M. She moved to Amarillo in 1944 and to Fort Worth in 1991. She was a founding member of Temple Baptist Church and Coulter Road Baptist Church in Amarillo, and also of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Fort Worth. She was an avid fisherwoman and bridge player. She was preceded in death by her husbands, C.L. Miller and A.B. Morris. Survivors include two sons, Billy Miller and wife, Jill, of Round Rock and Shott Miller and wife, Deborah, of Fort Worth; a daughter, Sami Miller Gordon of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a lifelong best friend, Barbara Autry of Amarillo. Rix Chapel at Rix Funeral Directors of Lubbock. A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Cathedral with the Rev. Ben Kasteel as celebrant. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Llano Cemetery at Amarillo. Mr. Cloninger was born in Hedley on Nov. 30, 1914. He was a 36-year employee of the Santa Fe Railroad, serving as paymaster in Amarillo and then in Topeka, Kan., where he became secretary-treasurer prior to his retirement. He was a Catholic, a fourth degree knight of Columbus, a member of the SERA Club and a volunteer with RSVP. He married Clara Stahl on Dec. 29, 1937, in St. Henry, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife on Dec. 17, 2000; and a daughter, Ruby May Cloninger. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Sullivan of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Linda Wright of Fritch; a son, Dwain Cloninger of Boise, Idaho; a brother, Sidney Cloninger of Dallas; four sisters, Alice Tusha of Lubbock, Willie B. Gentry and Iris Melcher both of Slaton and Mary Francis Walther of San Antonio; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
