Mrs. Turentine was born Sept. 3, 1918, in Cumby. She married Minter H. "Snooks" Turentine on June 12, 1938. Survivors include a son, Martin Turentine of Abilene; a step-daughter, Sue Hale of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Sparkman married Elverta Green on Dec. 19, 1933, in Quanah. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the tank division. Mr. Buckingham had been a resident of Pampa since 1931. He was an involved member of the community, serving on a number of civic organizations. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II. They were deeply involved with the congregation that envisioned and built a new church which is today Mary Ellen & Harvester Church of Christ. Military graveside rites will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mr. Dale was a World War II veteran and received the Purple Heart. After his marriage to Lovina Haffner, he spent four years in the Oklahoma State Legislature then returned to Guymon where he was associate district judge from 1969-1983. Survivors include his son, Doug Dale of Guymon; a daughter, Deborah Headrick of Guymon; a sister, Neeta Musgrove of Austin; and five grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today in Victory Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Chaffin and the Rev. Shannon Davis officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mr. Gray was born to Harry Matt and Charlotte Low Gray on Dec. 13, 1916, in Springfield, Mass., a descendant of William Bradford, the first governor of the Plymouth Plantation. He grew up in Katonah, N.Y., and graduated from Middlebury College in 1939. After the war, the Grays moved to the Hitch Ranch near Guymon. He owned and operated several radio stations in the area, and established and operated various properties in Guymon. He was a member of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church where he was a longtime choir member. He served on the Guymon School Board and many other civic organizations. Survivors include his wife, Joyce; a son, Bradford Hitch Gray of New Canaan, Conn.; a daughter, Christina Staufenberger of Westport, Conn., and Deep Creek Lake, Md.; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Mass will be at 5:15 p.m. (MDT) Friday in St. Frances Cathedral in Santa Fe. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Neeley was born and raised in Oklahoma City. He served two years in the Army. He married Helen George in 1958 at Denver. He worked as a food salesman for many years, before retiring in 1998. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bobby Mitchel Neeley of Oklahoma City, and Michael Neeley and Shawn Neeley, both of Amarillo; and four grandchildren, Bryan, Steven, Jeff and Taylor.
