Services will be at 2 p.m. today in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Terry C. Lowe of St. Stephen United Methodist Church officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Fairlawn Cemetery of Hutchinson, Kan. Mr. Davis was born Nov. 19, 1916, in Medicine Lodge, Kan. He attended school at Plains, Kan., graduating in 1936. He married Mildred Ball in 1936. He worked in Hutchinson and Wichita, Kan., during the war. In 1949, he came to the Kismet, Kan. and Plains, Kan., area. Mr. Davis began working for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline in 1949 and retired in 1977. He was a supervisor at the Hugoton, Kan. field group for eight years before returning to supervise the Liberal, Kan., station. After retirement, he and Mildred moved to Greenfield, Mo., and later to Nevada, Mo. He was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents; and by a sister, Marie Davis. Survivors include his wife; a son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Melva Davis of Amarillo; a sister, Maxine Baker of Sequin; and two granddaughters, Paula Davis of Seattle and Judith Ann Davis of Boston. He had more than 35 years experience in the hotel / motel and food and beverage industries. He was a member of Christian Heritage Church and the Christian Motorcycle Association. Mrs. Robertson was the owner / operator of Nona's Cafe in Amarillo for 10 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bellevue. She married Rex Robertson in 1955 at Comanche. She moved from Bellevue to Amarillo in 1971. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Larry Robertson of Dallas, Raymond Robertson of Parker, Colo., and Malcolm Robertson of Amarillo; two brothers, Lonny D. Stallcup of Junction City, Kan., and Johnny D. Stallcup of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Ann Shelton of New Orleans and Darlene Foster of Wichita Falls; and two grandchildren. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Pennington was born and raised in Winters. She graduated from Winters High School. In 1935, she moved to Big Spring. She married Dee Balch in 1936 at Big Spring. He passed away in 1973. In 1949, she moved to Amarillo. She married Ed Pennington in 1979 at Amarillo, and they moved to Ruidoso, N.M. They returned to Amarillo in 1996. Mrs. Pennington was a district manager for Avon Cosmetics from 1948 until retiring in 1974. She was a longtime member of the Amarillo Business Women's Association. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ruidoso. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles David Balch, in 1954. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Dorothy Deckerd of Lake Tanglewood and Becky Maples of Arlington; a stepson, Gary Rickman of Silver City, N.M.; four grandchildren, Renee Ashley and Randy Deckerd, both of Amarillo and Misty Maples and Shon Maples, both of Arlington; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
