Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with Dr. Murray Gossett, associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Ms. O'Rear was born and raised in Amarillo. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1939. She married JG Risley in 1942. He died in 1964. She married Harlan O'Rear in 1966. He died in 1991. She worked at American National Bank for 35 years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Beth Risley of Amarillo; three sons, James Risley of Lewisville, Kenneth Risley of Amarillo and Ron Risley of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Richard Cole of Amarillo; and four grandchildren, Jason Risley and Jennifer Risley, both of Memphis, Jamie Risley of Pflugerville and Dianne Risley of Dallas. Brent Ashby officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Tadlock was born and raised in Amarillo. She married Dick Tadlock in 1950 at Amarillo. She taught painting for 40 years and loved to play golf. She was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church and Journeyman Sunday school class. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Carl Thorell and the Rev. Dick Marcer officiating. Mr. Busby was born Sept. 1, 1914, at Stephenville, Erath County, the son of H.F. Busby Sr. and Emma Moats Busby. He married Zola Mae Baker on Jan. 23, 1937, at Tolar. He was a member of United Methodist Church. He was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was instrumental in the building of the church. He was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a real estate broker and contractor in Fritch for many years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Evan and Summie Busby; and a sister, Leota Smith. He was a truck driver for Coastal Lights Inc. He married Maria Ramirez on April 8, 1981, at Sterling, Colo. He attended Jehovah's Witnesses with his wife who is a member. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Sujey Duran, Esther Duran and Maura Duran, all of Amarillo; his mother, Socorro Duran of El Paso; a brother, Jorge Duran of Amarillo; and two grandchildren, Eric and Lylle. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he was active in Methodist Men and served on the administrative board. He married Estelline Johnson on Jan. 18, 1941, at Wellington. He graduated from Wellington High School in 1933 and attended Amarillo College. He served in the Navy Seabees during World War II. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and served on the Wellington school board. He was a charter member of Farmers Union. He had received the Outstanding Farmer Award from the Salt Fork Soil Conservation District. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Vicki Killian of Hollis and Jan Glenn of Houston; two sisters, Mava Hunsaker of Lubbock and Virginia Horsman of Austin; three granddaughters; and two great-grandsons. Mr. Pena married Judy Hernandez on Dec. 4, 1960, at Clovis. He was a heavy equipment operator for Gifford Hill Western and Franse Irrigation. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Carlos R. Services for Randy Glenn Whitaker, 44, will be today at the Pearl Harbor Memorial Chapel on the Pearl Harbor Naval Complex. A memorial service in Amarillo will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 15 at Paramount Baptist Church. Whitaker was a 1975 graduate of Caprock High School and attended Amarillo College. He served in the Navy for 13 years. He was reported missing from the USS Russell on Nov. 27. Whitaker, a petty officer second class, was an information specialist technician onboard the guided missile destroyer. A search was conducted using the USS Russell, USS Vincennes, maritime patrol aircraft and helicopters, Navy officials said. The Navy ended the search after failing to find any signs of Whitaker. Whitaker was stationed at Pearl Harbor, where his wife Melinda and two children, Lindsay, 17, and Ross, 14, live.
