Mr. Thigpen was born Sept. 1, 1941, in Pettit, the son of Francis Stanton and Mattie Bernice Morris Thigpen. He worked for Worley Grain Seeds for 25 years and A&M Farm and Ranch Supply for 15 years. Survivors include two daughters, Schree Burkhammer of Amarillo and Sonya Robison of Clovis; two sisters, Verlene LaRue of Texico and Jerry Trower of Andrews; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Lankford was born July 9, 1911, to William Shelby James and Lora Lewis James, in Wellington. She was an accomplished musician and piano teacher for several years. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Brooks Funeral Directors Chapel of Canyon, Texas. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery of Canyon. Mrs. Dodson was born in Joy, Texas, Clay County, on April 4, 1905. She married Roy Edward Dodson on Oct. 7, 1922. She was a member of the Vigo Park Methodist Church, having served as song leader, superintendent and teacher of the young children Sunday school and Vacation Bible school. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999. She also was preceded in death by a son, Roy E. Dodson Jr.; and a daughter, Geraldine Abbott. Survivors include a son, Jack R. Dodson and wife, Glenda, of Fort Worth, Texas; a son-in-law, Cliff Abbott of Canyon; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Marie Dodson of Lovington; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services were at 11 a.m. Monday in Goad Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Holly officiating. Burial was on the family farm. Mr. Revell was the son of the late Edward John Revell Sr., and Catherine Teresa Glassford Revell. A native of Jersey City, N.J., he was an industrial roofer for water control. Survivors include his wife, Dee Revell of Scottsville; a daughter, Bobbie Victour of Scottsville; a stepson, Michael Leonard Baker of Scottsville; a brother, Robert Revell of Long Branch, N.J.; a sister, Debbie Bradley, of Amarillo; and a grandson, Michael Leonard Baker Jr., of Mount Juliet, Tenn. Mr. Rauls was a 20-year veteran of the Navy, serving from 1947 to 1967. He worked in the civil engineering department at Texas Tech University for 14 years. Survivors include two sons, Raymond Rauls Jr. of Lubbock and Rick Rauls of Dexter, Mo.; two daughters, Barbara Rauls of Lubbock and Diana Hill of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; a sister, Alice Queens of Milwaukee, Wis.; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
