Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Klipstine was a longtime Amarillo resident. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and the Amarillo Senior Citizens Association. Mrs. Klipstine was active in the American Legion Auxiliary, holding a variety of office over the years. She sold poppies at the First National Bank on Veteran's Day for 45 years. She served as a volunteer with the RSVP, the AARP, the ASCA, and other local services organizations. Mrs. Klipstine played the piano in the Senior Citizen Sunday Band, and the Kitchen Band, regularly performing at charitable functions and nursing homes. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Klipstine; and by two daughters, Barbara Schell and Florene Fletcher.
