Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Lamount Drive Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Austin officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Ms. Hodges was a longtime resident of Amarillo and was a member of Lamount Drive Baptist Church. She graduated from Borger High School. She married Louis Hodges on Dec. 11, 1944. She taught Sunday school and Bible classes at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986; a son, Robert Hodges in 1999; and a daughter, Glenda Hodges in 1950. Survivors include two sons, John Hodges of Amarillo and Rick Hodges of Dalhart; three daughters, Becky Clark and Janette West, both of Amarillo, and Lanette Rhoades of Arkansas; a brother, Buddy Bishop of Barrington, N.H.; two sisters, Helen Jowers and Shirley Bishop, both of West Monroe, La.; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery at Amarillo. Arrangements are by DeBerry Funeral Directors. Mrs. Janes was born Dec. 24, 1944, at Amarillo, to C.L. and Beulah Ratliff. She married Bob Janes on Jan. 26, 1965, at Amarillo. She was a receptionist for Ginnings Elementary for 10 years. She worked at Texas Woman's University as a clinical assistant in the dental hygiene department. Survivors include her husband, Robert; a daughter, Stephanie Sanders of Frisco; a son, Bryan C. Janes of Dallas; her father of Amarillo; a sister, Patt Edwards of Amarillo; and two grandsons. Amarillo Globe-News. Dec. 8, 2001 Don Earl Davis PARIS - Don Earl Davis, 58, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, in Houston. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry Blackmon and the Rev. Billy Daniels officiating. Burial will be in East Post Oak Cemetery. Mr. Davis was born Aug. 5, 1943, at Floydada. He married Glenda Giles on Sept. 12, 1963, at Floydada. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Guy Davis and Gary Don Davis, both of Henderson, and Ladd Davis of Cedar Park; a daughter, Glynese McNabb of Paris; a sister, Gwen Holladay of Clarendon; and six grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Dec. 8, 2001 Hilda Brown FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Hilda Brown, 88, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery at Amarillo. Arrangements are by Goes Funeral Care of Fort Collins. Local arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia. Ms. Brown was born May 23, 1913, at Jackson Township near Emporia, Kan., to Charles Lyman Hall and Albena Martina Hall. She graduated from Emporia High School and attended Emporia Business College. She married Don J. Brown, also from Emporia, in August 1940. She was a homemaker and mother to three children. Don's career with Sante Fe Railroad, took them to assignments in Arkansas City, Kan., Waynoka, Okla., Dodge City, Kan., LaJunta, Colo., and Amarillo. She was a longtime member of Polk Street Methodist Church in Amarillo. Survivors include two sons, Bill Brown of Denver and Alan Brown and wife, Phyllis, of Torrington, Wyo.; a daughter, Donna Dauner and husband, Dan, of Fort Collins; a sister, Wanda Beach of Juneau, Alaska; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Hall and Iola Hall, both of Emporia; and seven grandsons. Mrs. Darrow was born Oct. 7, 1915, at Quanah. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Percy; two sons, Walter Franklin Hatcher of Lake Charles, La., and Kenneth Hatcher of Middlesex, N.C.; a daughter, Pat Frazier of Hot Springs; two brothers, W.T. Ms. O'Rear was born and raised in Amarillo. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1939. She married JG Risley in 1942. He died in 1964. She married Harlan O'Rear in 1966. He died in 1991. She worked at American National Bank for 35 years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Beth Risley of Amarillo; three sons, James Risley of Lewisville, Kenneth Risley of Amarillo and Ron Risley of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Richard Cole of Amarillo; and four grandchildren, Jason Risley and Jennifer Risley, both of Memphis, Jamie Risley of Pflugerville and Dianne Risley of Dallas.
