Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14, in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Directors. Mrs. Crabtree was born on June 29, 1919, in Hutchins to Claude Duane and Carrie Isabel Leggett Mosier. She graduated from Clayton High School in 1938. Survivors include two sons, Buck Curry of Cody, Wyo., and James Curry of Clayton; four stepchildren, W. Roger Crabtree, Judy Potter and Joan Crabtree, all of Boise City, Okla., and Lynn Wells of Stratford; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News July 8, 2001 Elsewhere Rosamond Reeves BOULDER, Colo. - Rosamond Allen Reeves, 70, formerly of Pampa, Texas, died Friday, July 6, 2001. Memorial services will be held July 2, 2002. Cremation will be by Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Longmont. Mrs. Reeves was born Nov. 28, 1930, in Quitaque, Texas, to Thomas Houston and Pearl Magnola Graham Allen. She attended West Texas State College in Canyon, Texas. On July 2, 1950, in Pampa, she married Chet L. Reeves Jr. She lived most of her life in Texas and had made her home in Colorado since 1993. In Pampa she was very involved as a volunteer for many organizations. Rosamond also served as director of the United Way and assisted in many of the United Way-sponsored programs including Meals on Wheels and Good Samaritan. She also taught tennis to underprivileged children. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1996; and a brother. Survivors include a son, Chet L. Reeves III of Albuquerque, N.M.; three daughters, Julia Reeves of Dacono, Carla Cunningham of Tatum, N.M., and Sandra Caldwell of Boulder; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Butler LUBBOCK - Orland A. Butler, 87, died Friday, July 6, 2001. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Resthaven Memorial Park. Services will follow at 11 a.m. in Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Paul Cunningham officiating. Arrangements are by Resthaven Funeral Home. Mr. Butler, appointed coordinator of music for Lubbock Independent School District in 1971, retired in 1984 after 46 years with the public schools in Oklahoma and Texas. He married Frances Stevenson in January 1952 at Pampa. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dan Butler of St. Croix, Virgin Islands and Alan Butler of Atlanta; two daughters, Susan Gimarc of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Diana Parker of Goldsboro, N.C.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News July 8, 2001 Ray Caraway TULIA - Ray Caraway, 87, died Friday, July 6, 2001, in Amarillo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Davenport, pastor, officiating and the Rev. Travis LaDuke, retired, assisting. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home. Mr. Caraway was born Sept. 12, 1913, in Wilbarger County. He moved to Swisher County in 1916. After attending school in Lakeview he graduated from Tulia High School in 1933 and attended Texas Technological College. A farmer, he helped establish the Tulia Co-op Gin and served on the board of directors. He also served on the Tulia Cemetery Association Board of Directors. A Mason, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Tulia, where he taught Sunday school and was a longtime deacon. In 1989, he moved to Amarillo, where he was a member of Paramount Baptist Church. He married Amy Burrow on Jan. 6, 1935. She died Oct. 31, 1996, in Amarillo. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Opal Norton, in 1994; and a brother, Archie Caraway, in 1945. Survivors include three sons, Harold Caraway and Paul Caraway, both of Dumas, and Robert Caraway of Honey Grove; two brothers, Carl Caraway of Seal Beach, Calif., and Eddie Caraway of Gardnerville, Nev.; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Arnie Smith, pastor of Fairmont Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Myers-Long Funeral Directors. Mr. True served with the Army during World War II. He was a farmer and miner. He married Oleta Davis. She preceded him in death in 1990. He was a Baptist. Survivors include a son, Robert True Jr., of Torrington, Wyo.; a daughter, Sandra Blackman of Mackintosh, N.M.; a grandson; a special nephew, Rex Johnson of Silverton; and numerous other nephews and nieces. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Campbell was born in Dodd City. She moved to Amarillo from Hereford in 1946. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Ernestine Derryberry Greenhaw and Ruble Rogers. Mr. Morris was a lifetime resident of Amarillo. He graduated from Amarillo High School. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Pampa Masonic Lodge No. 966 and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He had lived in Amarillo for 40 years. Memorial services for the family were held in Amarillo on Saturday, June 23, 2001. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were by Direct Funeral Services of Albuquerque. Mr. Harvey was born on Jan. 14, 1938, in Vickery (Dallas), Texas, to William Leon Harvey and Delia Jane Weeden Harvey. He was a Certified Property Manager and past president of the IREM local chapter. She was a foster parent and licensed day care provider out of her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church in Tucumcari with the Rev. James Peach, minister of First Baptist Church at Vega, officiating, and the Rev. Joe Murray, minister of the church, assisting. Burial will be in the family plot at San Jon Cemetery at San Jon by Dunn Funeral Home. Mr. Callison was born on Dec. 24, 1937, in Tucumcari. He had lived in Vega for the past several years. Survivors include his wife, Doris; four daughters, Margaret of Ragland, Texas, Kay Callison of Clovis and Leona Callison and Sheila Callison, both of Tucumcari; two sons, Joe Callison of Tucumcari and James Callison Jr., of Santa Rosa; a brother, Richard Callison of San Jon; two sisters, Ellen Callison of Monte Vista, Colo., and Susie Kroeger of Clovis; 19 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens by Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Mrs. Loring was a lifetime area resident. She married Marvin Loring on June 14, 1930, at Clovis. Survivors include two granddaughters, Jan Moon and Cynthia Baker, both of Alamogordo; five great-granddaughters, Kristine Moon, Rebecca Baker, Rebecca Moon, Rachael Moon and Ashleigh Moon; and a grandson, David Baker.
