No services are scheduled at this time. The body was donated to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Lubbock. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Ford was born in Colby, Kan. She lived in Borger since 1958. She was a housewife. She married Lee G. Ford in 1951 at New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1990. She also was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Allen Johnston in 1985. Survivors include two daughters, Greta Oliver of Doyle, Calif., and Diedre Pomper of Farwell; a son, Danny Ford of Borger; two brothers, Alfred Allen of Denton and Johnny Allen of Akron, Colo. The family suggests memorials be to the American Lung Association; Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Center; or a favorite charity. The family will be at 918 Harrison in Borger. Jim McClure, of Bushland Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle Mr. Crawford was born in Amarillo and had lived in this area all of his life. He was a master carpenter. Mr. Crawford was an avid softball player. He was a member of Bushland Baptist Church. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1978. Survivors include a daughter, Nicole Crawford of Amarillo; a son, Zachary Crawford of Amarillo; his parents, LaQuita and Marshall Crawford of Bushland; three sisters, Marsha Campbell of Dumas and Terri Robinson and Polly Cheyne, both of Amarillo; and a grandmother Mabel Cribbs of Wildorado; two nephews; two nieces; and a great-nephew. She and her husband had owned and operated a grocery store and laundry in Lela before retiring. Mr. Williams was born Sept. 29, 1925, in Twitty. He had lived in Wheeler County all of his life. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1947 with a business agriculture degree. He was a farmer and rancher and a member of the Southwest Cattle Raisers Association. He served in World War II with the 806 bombing group in the Army Air Force. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Rotary Club, Booster Club, a Shriner and a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include five sons: Dr. Randall Williams of Kingsville, Richard Williams of Dallas, Ken Little of San Antonio, Joe Edd Little of Greybull and Mark Wesley Little of Berkley, Calif; a daughter, Janice Cody of Dallas; a sister, Sue McNett of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Sewell TEXLINE - Blanche E. Sewell, 93, died Thursday, June 7, 2001, in Amarillo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Texline United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Texline Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home. Mrs. Sewell was born in Dombey, Okla., on Feb. 26, 1908, to Benjamin P. and Bessie L. (Smith) Shepherd. She moved to Dallam County on March 17, 1917. Blanche graduated from Perico High School in May of 1926. She married J.L. Sewell on May 6, 1936. Blanche was a longtime resident of Texline. She was a homemaker and mother. She was a member of the Texline United Methodist Church. Mrs. Sewell was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Sewell; and by a son, Earl D. Taylor. Survivors include a son, Wayne Sewell of Amarillo; a daughter, Kathryn L. Taylor of Amarillo; a brother, Everett B. Mr. Kitchens was born Feb. 23, 1910, in Sterling, Okla. He married Edna Rash on March 23, 1935, in Lawton, Okla. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Shirley Smith of Tulia and Karen Stanaland of Sugarland; three sons, L.E. "Sonny" Kitchens of Dumas, Larry Kitchens of Boone, N.C., and Ronald L. He married Nora Arlene Jackson on Sept. 5, 1960, in Wellington. He was a farmer, rancher and carpenter much of his life before his retirement. He was a member of the McLean Church of Christ. Mr. Milham was preceded in death by a son, Tomas Milham; and by a daughter, Joy Milham. Survivors include his wife, Nora Milham of McLean; a son, Larry Milham of Dallas; two daughters, Oleta Fay Williamson of Smithville, Okla., and Betty Trice of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Mr. Pruitt was born in Wheeler and had lived in Borger for 45 years. He was a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Duluth Clarence Pruitt and Wilma Etta Pruitt; by two brothers, Tom Pruitt of Houston and Willis Pruitt of Canadian; and by a sister, Wanda Lester of Amarillo. Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday in Geo. H. Lewis & Sons Funeral Directors in Houston, with Dr. Mark C. Lewis of St. Luke's United Methodist Church officiating. Mr. Stewart was born Dec. 7, 1977, in Houston. He was preceded in death by his father, William B. Stewart, maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Margrave and paternal grandfather, Ralph B. Stewart. Following services, John was entombed next to his father in the Memorial Oaks Mausoleum in Houston. Survivors include his wife, Khadija Zabri; his mother, Laura and her husband, Clayven Broussard, of Lake Arthur; a sister, Jennifer Ann Stewart of Baton Rouge; paternal grandmother, Nina Jean Stewart of Amarillo; maternal grandfather, Clay Margrave of Lake Arthur; and his aunt, Mary Ann Stewart of Houston. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. McPeak was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Pampa most of her life, joining the First Baptist Church of Hewitt in 1999. She worked for V.E. Wagner Well Service in Pampa for 29 years. Survivors include a son, Tom McPeak of Lorena; a daughter, Mary Ann Sparks of La Blanca; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Jerry Wilson, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be by Rix Funeral Directors. Mr. Cason was born Dec. 14, 1945, in Upland, Calif. He married Sue Arrington on Jan. 24, 1970, in Muleshoe. He graduated from Friona High School in 1963 and attended Texas Tech University. He was enlisted in the Navy for four years, after which he earned a bachelor's degree from West Texas State University in 1973. He was employed with the Boy Scouts of America in Oklahoma City, Tyler, and Lubbock, where he was a District Executive. He was a member of Southcrest Baptist Church. He fought a hard and courageous battle against cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Hayden Cason. Survivors include his wife, Sue Cason, a son Timothy Hayden Cason, a daughter, Shauna Beth Carpenter, all of Lubbock; his mother, Mary Lou Taylor of Friona; two sisters, Cindy Belew of Clovis, N.M., and Carolyn Stevens of Lubbock; a grandson, Austin Carpenter; and nieces and nephews. The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials be to Southcrest Christian School, 3801 S. Loop 289, Lubbock, TX 79423; Boy Scouts of America, 30 Briercroft Office Park, Lubbock, TX 79412; or the American Cancer Society, 3411 73rd, Lubbock, TX 79423.
