Mr. Goodwin moved to Spring Branch in 1990 and married Waldine Murdoch on Feb. 14, 1995. He was a longtime resident of Stinnett. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis; a brother, Roy; and a nephew, Joel Lively. Survivors include his wife; a son, Christopher of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Cindy Snyder of San Antonio; a stepson, Karl Bohrer of Canyon Lake; his mother, Geraldine of Stinnett; a sister, Becky Lively of Stinnett; five stepgrandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Allen was born June 2, 1906, in Jewell City, Kan., to Burley and Sena Channer. She married Harry Allen on March 20, 1927. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. after several years. She was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Allen. Survivors include two brothers, Clark Channer of Wichita, Kan., and Burley Channer of Michigan; several nieces; and several nephews. Mrs. Gaulding was born in Tishomingo, Okla. She moved with her family to Grayson County in 1910 and in 1925 to Sudan. She graduated from Sudan High School in 1927. She married Lucius Gaulding in 1942 and they moved to Boise, Idaho. They later moved to Dumas and Vega. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vega. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988; a brother, Erskine Gordon; and two nephews, Donald Gordon and W.L. Gordon. Survivors include a brother, Wayman Gordon of Sudan; two sisters, Gladys Michael of Taylor and Sybil Stuart of Shamrock; four nieces; three nephews; and June Gaulding of Palm Desert, Calif. She was a past Worthy Matron of Spearman O.E.S. No. 721 and received her 50-year pin in 1996. She was a past president of Comas B.P.W. Club and was announced Woman of the Year. She served on the Moore County Girl Scout Board for several years. She helped deliver Meals on Wheels for several years. She was the Dumas Chamber of Commerce secretary of the month and retired from bookkeeping after 21 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, H.W. "Jack" and Erma L. Ferrin; her husband, J. Wilson "Buck" Buchanan in 1998; two brothers, Lyle Ferrin and Clifford Ferrin; and a sister, Naomi Hurley. Survivors include a daughter, Judy B. Ward of Houston; a son, John W. Burial will be in Moore Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Robbins died at her home in Dallas from complications of cancer. She was born July 13, 1926, in Lloyd, near Denton. Her parents were Walter Dee Lowrie Sr. and Anna Riley. She grew up in Hamby and graduated from Abilene High School in 1943. She attended TSCW in Denton for two years and married Freddie Robins in 1954. She resided in Fort Worth for many years before moving to Dallas in 1955. She worked as a secretary at Fletcher Oil & Gas Drilling, British American Oil and was secretary to Thos E. Stanley, architect. She returned to Fort Worth in 1965 and was secretary to Sam Denney at the law firm of Law, Snakard, Brown and Gambill. She then began working with her son as the typesetter and business manager for his newspaper, Meadowbrook Shopping News, from 1979 until he sold the paper in 1989. She continued to help him until the present with his portrait photography business which is now located at NorthPark Center in Dallas. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; a sister, Frankie Deming; and a brother, Jimmy Ray Lowrie. Survivors include a son, Marc Robbins of Dallas; two sisters, Annette Stevens of Fort Worth and Mozelle Eakens of Amarillo; a brother, Walter Dee Lowrie Jr. and wife, Marilyn, of Fort Worth; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
