"NaNa," a few simple words penned on paper are a mere glimmer of the beauty and light that was your precious life. You scattered so many beautiful flowers along the roadside of each of our lives. How sweet Heaven must be today, the glorious reunion of our dear, sweet mother, her beloved husband Claude, her precious son J.D., and the glorious humor that was her son-in-law Danny, and all the wonderful brothers and sisters whose memory you kept so near to your precious heart. Those of us here will continue to tend the garden that was your sweet life. We will draw our strength from your precious sister, Florence, and your wonderful brother, Angris, who have always loved us as their very own. The beauty that was you will live in your eternal garden, the one that you tended and loved the most. Your children, who were your life and soul, Avis and Fred, will be our support, our guide just as they always have been. Sara and Leonard will watch over and protect each of us just as always and Claudette will be that unique flower that adds just that special beauty to any garden. Linda will comfort your beloved son, Gary, who will be our sunshine just as he was always yours. Rita will keep us free from heartache and pain for none of us know better than she. John and Jonnie will tend the soil just as they tended the beauty that was your sweet life. Your garden has grown so rich and full from the love and nurturing that was you, 17 beautiful grandchildren, 26 glorious great-grandchildren and a precious great-great-grandson. And all the friends to whom you spread so much sunshine even on the cloudiest of their days. From the earth we were formed, to the earth we return, and in between we garden...
