He married Dorothy Mae Bush on Sept. 7, 1946, in Amarillo. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Dori Kile in 1989, and his mother, Pauline Guill on May 9, 2001. He lived for several years at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and graduated from high school there. While at Boys Ranch, he was state champion wrestler and was a state champion saddle bronc rider. He was involved with professional wrestling in Amarillo and was proud to be associated with the Boys Ranch Alumni Association. He was the owner of J&S Trucking in Amarillo. He married Sherry Snyder in 1999 at Amarillo. He was a union sheet metal worker from 1961 to 2000 as well as Sheetmetal Union Coordinator for six years in Amarillo. He retired in May 2000 from Yearout Mechanical in Albuquerque, N.M. He was a member of South Georgia Baptist Church. He married Madonna Green on Aug. 19, 1960, in Dumas.
