Wilson "Bill" Butler BORGER - J. Wilson "Bill" Butler, 85, died Thursday, June 14, 2001. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Butler was born June 1, 1916, in Claude and had lived in Borger for 65 years. He was a retired rural mail carrier. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Mae Butler on May 31, 1998. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, J.W. and Brenda Butler of Borger; his daughter and son-in-law, Jo and Wendyl Sanders of Borger; one brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Mae Butler; three grandchildren, Christi and Jim Abel, Connie and Frank Harris and Kelton Butler, all of Borger; and seven great-grandchildren. Casket bearers will be Jim Abel, Frank Harris, Jamey Maxwell, Jake Topper, Trevor Topper and Jim Topper. Amarillo Globe-News, June 16, 2001 Gladys Marie Wincek VEGA - Gladys Marie Wincek, of Henderson, Nev., and formerly of Vega, died Tuesday, June 12, 2001. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Park Cemetery at Vega with the Rev. Pat Carathers, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Vega, officiating. Arrangements are by Vega Funeral Home. Mrs. Wincek was born in Chicago. She was a retired farmer. Mrs. Wincek was a resident of Vega from 1977 to 1986, when she moved to St. Paul, Minn., where she resided until moving to Henderson in 1995. She was a Catholic. She married Mack Wincek on June 28, 1934, in Chicago. He preceded her in death in 1986. Survivors include two daughters, Dianne Fennell and her husband, Marvin Fennell, of Henderson, Nev., and Jean Walker of Chippewa Falls, Wis.; a son, Ronald Wincek of Chippewa Falls; two sisters, Rosemarie Linares of McAllen and Florance Droesser of Monroe, La.; 18 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. The body was available for viewing from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Vega Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Dreamland Cemetery of Canyon. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in University Church of Christ of Canyon with David Lough and the Rev. Pat Carathers officiating. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors. Miles Louis Joaquin Paschel was born on June 13, 2001, to Louis and Brenda Avent Paschel in Amarillo. Survivors include his parents; a brother, Branden Paschel; a sister, Mikayla Paschel; and grandparents, Betty Avent of Canyon and Anthony and Katherine Paschel of Canyon. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, John; a daughter, Nancy Wright of Flower Mound; a son, David Green and his wife, Monique of Angleton; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth of Angleton.
