She was a founding member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church and attended St. Mark's Anglican Episcopal Church. She owned and operated Dal-Ann Greenhouse and was a member of the Iris Society. She also was a founding member of the Amarillo Garden Center and served as a volunteer at St. Anthony's Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Jerry" Harrison. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Shipman was born in Magazine Ark. She had lived in Canyon for 18 years before moving to Tulia. She worked in the laundry at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Shipman, in 1983. Survivors include a daughter, Margie Teel of Tulia; three sisters, Edress Key and Marie Lesembee of Houston and Bessie Brown of Fort Worth; a brother, Arthur Capper of Matthews of Houston; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services were at 11 a.m. Friday in the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial was in Rolla Cemetery at Rolla. Arrangements were by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon, Okla. Mrs. Coen was born near Wilberton. She was a longtime resident of Morton County, living in Elkhart since 1998. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she taught Sunday school and was the church historian. She taught ceramics to the 4-H Club and at the Morton County Care Center and also registered exhibits at the county fair. She married Verl Coen in 1934 at Richfield. She was preceded in death by her husband; and by an infant son, Dwayne Orville Coen. Survivors include two sons, Kelvin Coen and Donald Coen, both of Elkhart; a brother, Jack Turner of Elkhart; two sisters, Maxine Coen and Pauline Coen, both of Elkhart; nine grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Martinez was born in Tremintina, N.M., and was a longtime resident of Tucumcari. An auto body repair man, he was working at Tucumcari Motor Co. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Rufina Martinez; a daughter, Bernadette Lucero of Albuquerque; three sons, James Martinez Jr. of San Isidro, Jonathan Martinez of Rio Rancho and Christopher Martinez of New Hampshire; three brothers, Johnny Martinez, Jerry Martinez and Lawrence Martinez, all of Tucumcari; two sisters, Corine Andrada and Rose Calbert, both of Tucumcari; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Amarillo Daily News, Feb. 17, 2001 Oklahoma Hazel Leist Williamson VICI, Okla. - Hazel Leist Williamson, 91, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in First Christian Church with the Rev. Don Chase, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon. Mrs. Williamson was born in Guymon. She attended school in the Prairie View community and later moved to Woodward and Fort Supply. She was married to Carl Leist in 1928 at Fort Supply. They moved to Denver, where she was worked at the Remington Arms Ammunition factory. After the war they moved to Liberal, Kan., and later to Texhoma, Okla., where they owned and operated Mom & Pop's Grocery Store. Mr. Liest died in 1954. She operated the store until 1963. She then opened The Drapery Nook, making custom drapes. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Guymon and the Rebekah Lodge, where she held various offices. In 1980 she was married to Wilson Williamson. He died in 1998. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcella Ann Hogard, and a stepson, Leon Williamson. Survivors include a daughter, Lanora "Penny" Condren of Taloga; a son, Clifford Ray Leist of Edgewater, Fla.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. "Pete" Logsdon, 67, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001. Services are pending with Mallett Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Mr. Logsdon served in the Air Force, serving in the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was stationed at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael. Charles Davenport officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home. Mr. Jones was born and raised in Allison and graduated from Allison High School. He owned farming interests in Wheeler and Hemphill counties and had lived in Sunray, working as assistant manager of Sunray Co-op. In 1965 he moved to Tulia, where he operated an elevator and farmed. He owned and managed Tan Inn in Amarillo from 1985 to 1994. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Mr. Jones was married to Armenda Aderholt in 1948 at Wheeler. Survivors include his wife; a son, Tony Jones of Lubbock; two daughters, Janis Nall and Vicki Hall, both of The Colony; two brothers, Harold Jones of Wheeler and Troy Jones of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; two sisters, Kay Donaldson and Sharon Hall, both of Allison; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday in Vista Cemetery at Truth or Consequences, N.M., by Price-Jackson Funeral Home. Mr. Vantine was born in Medicine Mound. He earned a master's degree at Texas A&M University. He was a geneticist for the Wilson County Soil Conservation in Tennessee and a member of the Lions Club. In 1955 he moved to Quanah. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a former Sunday school teacher. Mr. Vantine was married to Reba Hobbs in 1938. She died in 1980. He was married to Velma Kate Moseley in 1995. Survivors include his wife; a son, James Lee Vantine of Quanah; a sister, Blanch V. Parks of Midland; a brother, Wilbur Harris Vantine of McAllen; and a granddaughter. She had worked for the T.D. Hobart Ranch and Johnson's Grocery. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was married to Neal Crosier in 1934 at Arnett, Okla. He died in 1983. Mr. Seaney was born in Silverton. During World War II, he served in the Navy Air Corps. A cowboy and cattleman, he had lived in McLean for 30 years. He was married to Anita Henley in 1966 at Miami. He was a roughneck in the oil field and had also worked for the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was married to Virginia Faye Moffitt in 1958 at Canadian. Survivors include his wife; a son, Tony Adkins of Briscoe; a daughter, Tonya Tarber of Sayre, Okla.; his stepfather, Ray Northrup of Canadian; and seven grandchildren. He was married to Jonell Stewart in 1974 at Houston. During World War II, he served with the Army in New Guinea and Australia. In 1948 he moved to Lubbock, where he retired from Ralston Purina Mills. He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. He was married to Dora Young in 1969 at Lubbock. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Mitchell Caudle, in 1968. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Donna Greenlee of Wolffarth and Anna Sue Preece of Louisiana; two sons, Leland Young of Woodrow and Alton Eugene Caudle of Louisiana; two brothers, W.J.
