Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Anderson retired after 35 years from Southwestern Bell as an engineer. He was a member of Wesley Drive United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Telephone Company Pioneers. Mr. Anderson was born in Deep River, Conn. He was an Air Force veteran, having served during World War II. He married Bobbie Godfrey in Fort Worth in 1946. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Anderson; a daughter, Kaye Clark of Fritch; three sons, Kenneth Anderson and Richard Anderson, both of Amarillo and Stuart Anderson of Canadian; and four grandchildren. Ninth Ave. Mrs. Lumpkins was born Dec. 14, 1948 in Columbus, Ind. She moved to Amarillo in 1979. She was a licensed vocational nurse at the Department of Veterans Affairs Heath Care System in Amarillo. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She married Ben Robert Lumpkins in August 1971 at Rockwall. He died in 1994. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Coy Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Fort Sumner Cemetery by Chavez Funeral Home. Mrs. Moyer was born Nov. 22, 1930, in Tucumcari, to the home of Arthur Franklin Curry and the former Margaret Emma Cast. She was reared and attended schools at Tucumcari and Torrington, Wyo. Vaudie married Loyal Moyer on Sept. 4, 1949, at Tucumcari. Together, they owned and operated Moyer Masonry Construction Co. Vaudie and Loyal made their home in Fort Sumner in 1971. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Faithful Workers Sunday school class. Vaudie was a member of a bowling league and a past member of Fort Sumner Dance Club. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Vaudie was preceded in death by her husband, Loyal Moyer, on March 20, 1995; by her parents; and by two brothers, William Woody Curry and Dud Wade Curry. Survivors include three sons, Art Moyer and wife, Janet; Bryce Moyer and wife, Iva and Dana Moyer and wife, Brenda, all of Fort Sumner; a sister, Leona Smith and husband, Henry, of Tucumcari; a brother, Bill Curry and wife, Juanita, of Tucumcari; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
